Just talked with Motorola -- forget it...

Called Moto, ask if they still plan on having the v810 out this week or next week like they told me a few weeks ago... She tried looking it up, then said "oh, wait a minute please" then put me on hold, came back a few minutes later and told me second half of the year. She told me it was still in testing. 😳

So I asked about the v710 and she looked it up and told me second half of this year. She didn't have to ask anyone about the v710 so I think something got in the way on the v810.

Either that, or nobody knows anything or they are making it up as they go.

Wait? I don't think so... I may end up with one of those 'girly' vx6000 phones... 😉

Really sux having to buy older technology because they can't get their you-know-wh...

And, the E-Mail reply asking the same question: Is it still going to be released this week or next like you told me last month?

I gave up on the V810. Especially after a Verizon sales person had absolutely no clue what I was talking about when I visited a store in NY and inquired about this phone. She, however, was aware of the V710 model being released in the future.

I needed to port over to Verizon so I got the Samsung SCH-A530s. I like it, its my first Samsung so I was a bit skeptical but its cool and its not "girly" at all 😉 Since I was a new activation I paid $69.99 for the phone and with the $30.00 mail-in rebate in the end my total cost will be $39.99.

Now I won't feel so bad when I buy the V710 in the mid-summer for whatever ridiculous price tag they put on that. 🙄

Yeah, my problem is I'm cheap. 😉 I won't pay full retail so I was waiting for something new (or I should say with Verizon the best I can do is "newer"). So I was waiting for a 'newer' trimode camera phone. The wife and I are living with 2 Moto v120c now. I can't say they are bad phones, never had a problem with either one of them in 2 years.
But now every time I see someone with just about *any* phone I hate mine... 🙂
