since this phone is already out and avail on ebay, its only a matter

i just emailed motorola
I was unsure about what everyone was saying in these forums about the release dates of the V710 and V810 so i just emailed motorola and asked wen the V710 and V810 were going to be released. They responded to my email within 10 minutes and told me that the V710 is going to be released on May 22nd and that the V810 is going to be released on April 25th.They also said that it would take a few days after these dates for the fone to actually be in all stores and everything which means the V810 will probably be out around Monday or Tuesday next week.

Thinking of porting to Verizon?
Just wanted to share my porting experience with those thinking of taking the plunge.
I did everything online on a Wednesday evening and my port was completed sometime during the wee hours of Saturday morning. The ONLY catch was...........I had not received by equipment!
You would have thought that Verizon would minimally confirm receipt of the equipment before completing the port process......NOT! I spent an entire weekend without a mobile phone, which felt very strange I must say.
Upon arriving in the office on Monday morning, the Fedex box was sitting on my desk. Now, perhaps it had arrived and was somewhere in the mailroom in my building on Friday, but like I said, as a courtesy for online ports, Verizon really should confirm re...

does this phone have a speakerphone? The motorola web site says it does, but phonescoop leaves it out...anyone have the answer? We'll see if the phone is released on the 22nd, could be a typo.

v710 vs v810
Upon first hearing about the 710 and 810 - I just assumed I'd get the 810 when it came out (figured later model would indicate more features). After reading many of the posts - it seems to me that:
- The v710 is a better phone (ie: Bluetooth, expansion card, MP3, Speakerphone, self interpreting voice-dial).
- The v710 will most likely come out before he v810 (even though it seems the v810 was supposed to be out long before the v710)
1. Am I correct that the v710 is a better phone and has many features the v810 doesn't have? Is there any reason to get the v810 over he v710? (the specs list "USB" next to the v810, but not with the v710)
2. Am I also correct that the v710 should get to market first?

anyone know the approximite or exact realse date for this fone, my birthday is in a couple of days and i want to buy this fone. and also possibly the price with a 1 year or 2 year contract. 😁

Screw this phone.
The v710 will most likely be released soon after the v810. There's no reason to wait for the v810 when something better is right behind it (if not before it). I've been so turned off by this phone since November (its original release date). I got to use the phone this past January and its nothing great... a suped up T730 with a camera. v710 is where my money's at.

Verizon Wireless and how to abbreviate...
I'm sorry but i have to say this...at first i thought it was a typo...then it became a little annoying...and now...if i see it ONE more time--im going to rip my hair out!
VERIZON WIRELESS is abbreviated as VZW...not VZN, VZ, VZX, H, PQ, TVX....or whatever other concoction you people would like to make.
It makes any post that you write look like you have no idea what you are talking about.
Not a big deal, but spare me the agony...VZW!

According to a posting on the Howard Forums site...
"the v710 is being pushed back due to problems with bluetooth.
the v810 has just re-entered stage 2 testing again. apparently they fixed the camera and antenna problem"
i guess that is encouraging news regarding the v810. at this stage of the game, they better offer this phone (v810) at a really good price, new activations as well as customer upgrades, and bundle it with every imaginable accessory.
