Isnt May 9th a sunday. I guess they must be paying extra for sunday delivery. I hope they don't charge people extra. LOL. That doesn't seem right. Plus, if it was shipping that soon Motorola would have something listed on the website or send out a mass email so people know to look for it soon.

The V810 is available now in limited numbers from private parties (not CHEAP). Who knows when verizon will release it. I have one and its a great little phone. I like it because it is so small compare to my V710. I payed the big bucks because I am so tired of waiting. 😁

I thought the v810 is just about the same size as the 720? And the 720 was not a small phone, light-but not that small. If the 810 is smaller than which one does it compare to0the a530, 8600, or the vx6000

No, I think someone was comparing the v710'size to the t720. The v810 is smaller than the v60 - probably closer to the a530. Someone had posted pics of the v810 next to a v60 a while back on HoFo. If you do a search, they should come up. 🙂

h you're right this is a small phone, and it suddenly became more attractive. It compares the most closely to the 8600-only being off by about 3 mm. WoW that is a small phone.

Jaydog I dont understand your question-we were trying to find a phone similiar in size to the 810. The 8600 is a horrible phone though if thats what your asking.

Can't give away my contact! By the way, they are programmed with the latest software. There is no antenna problems with my phone. Unfortunately, we or you guy's are waiting for Verizon to finish the latest software testing. Could be MONTHS! 😢 My phone works great 😁 and if there are software upgrades when they are finally released. I will have it flashed

Here are some pics someone posted of a v810 next to a vx6000: Look through the threads and there are more pics there, too

There was another thread with pics next to a v60, but I'm not finding it now.

What makes the 810 so much better than the 8600. The way I see it, the 8600 is a pretty good phone with possibly more features than the 810.

I have personally owned a lot of phones, with a few different companies. The audiovox was and still is the absolute worst phone I have ever experienced. Where to start: Could not hear the ringer very very low, besides the ringer choices in the phone were also very bad-(no simple ringtones, all stupid melodies). Next the voice quality of calls were staticy, and not clear. The speakerphone was USELESS. When I put the phone into speakerphone mode I still found myself putting the phone to my ear. The verizon banner that flashes is annoying, but its just as annoying on my current 8900. Phonebook name search didn't work well either. If you typed in a fist letter of a name and then a second letterof the name, the phone was still searching i...

I apologize the first line says: "I have personally owned a lot of phones, with a few different companies. The audiovox was and still is the absolute worst phone I have ever experienced". --This is in reference to the 8600 phone, not the audiovox company. I know Im gonna get attacked by you hardcore audiovox fans if I dont clarify so The second sentence was supposed to say "THE AUDIOVOX 8600 WAS AND STILL IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST PHONE...
