It's because too many people were coaching the customers on giving 5s and stuff.

Um you obviously werent in a corporate store then. Our main quotas that we are held to every month are new acts, box sales, accessory sales and csat. You get written up if you dont hit them too.

I originally worked for a corporate nextel store. Oh, how I miss those days :( We would just chill in the back room all day long and then the door bell would ding to let us know there was a customer LOL! You could upgrade whenever you wanted as long as you signed another two year contract. yea, their phones are big but they are def dependable (except for a few ie: i830). Business accounts were easy to set ...

Thats funny because my csat is at 100%. Did you not read my last post? I said I would help a customer because it is part of my job but another part of my job is to SELL things. Just like it is yours to transfer if you "cant" help the customer. Then they get disconnected like 8 times. I think the customer would rather come to a store than deal with care.

i totally hear what you are saying. I had 5 box sales walk on me today because of best buy and radio shack. My question is why cant we match them??? The phones don't cost that much money. Its not that big of deal. If they can afford to do it then why cant we. We cant even match our own sprint.com prices. WTF is that? I will help a customer if they bought their phone somewhere else because it ...

I understand that but I think vendors should train their employees better. If you are a vendor emp, you are a one in a million lol! Our vendors here dont care. They want the money and that is it. I dont think its right for me to compete with everyone selling sprint. I think sprint should sell sprint and that is it. Thats just my thoughts.

I would have to agree with storelead. I would love it if sprint pulled their product from third parties. I know that there are issues with that but I don't mind. I don't see it fair that a corporate store has to compete with a best buy less than a quarter of a mile away from us, a vendor store right across the street in the mall (great location for a corporate store HELLO), a vendor right off of ...

LOL! I wish i could agree with you but this is from 4 years of wireless experiance. I worked for wireless giant for like 5 months. It sucked. Commission is horrible, pay was horrible, we only made comm on phones and nothing else. No benefits. NO cell service. Those lovely "sprint" dealers you are referring to are the worst of all. ALL indirect dealers are shady. I have seen nothing but problems on top of problems. Its horrible. I ...

Ok, so I have a HUGE dillema. I want to move but I am not sure. I have it narrowed down to Seattle Washington or Las Vegas Nevada. Any corporate store employees opinions would be great. I am looking to transfer. I am a lead but want to move up or stay at my current position. Any advice would be great. Thanks :)

People people people!!! This could be the result of the lovely indirect dealers :) They do it with Nextel to sprnt ports all the time. They tell them that they can't do the ports and make them get new numbers. The upgrade fees used to be $36. As of April they are $18. The reason why the hybrids suck at service is because they don't roam and get service everywhere that sprint phones do. I'm no saying that all ...

From what I heard there was a bad batch of 730's that came out. They had bad software in them that was making them drop calls. For my business phone I have a 730 and have never had a problem with it. You can tell which 730's are bad and which aren't. The bad ones have really tiny text on them and the newer ones have bigger text.

Dealing with customer in retail is a very delicate thing. There was a guy in my store dealing with my Lead Retail Consultant (senior, kind of like an assitant to the manager) and he was screaming and yelling and saying F*** every five seconds. He was in the front of the store and I could hear him all the way in the back of the store. It was nuts. I had 911 dialed up on my phone incase I ...

I came from Nextel and now work in a Sprint store so when this came out it wasn't anything new. Nextel commission structure was 10 times worse than this. Except you got paid data spiffs and boost spiffs. I dunno, It's nothing new to me. I'm kind of used to getting jerked around. I was ambassador for for three months and then they started giving us commission. It sucked having to sell for other people that whole time. On ...

You want to talk about bad cs? Try nextel. Yes I love nextel to death but I would have to call there and they wouldn't get anything done for me. In a nextel corporate store you barely have access to accounts. My store shut down in feb and now I am in a sprint store. They have WAY more access to fix things here and I barely ever have to call cs except when I have to deal with ...
