What do you think about the new commission structure? I hate every last bit of it. Non-recurring revenue is a joke đ , and with a quota of 60, its hard to get accelerated on act's. The recurring revenue is nice, but I can only tack on so much stuff they actually would use. So what do you guys think about it?

I came from Nextel and now work in a Sprint store so when this came out it wasn't anything new. Nextel commission structure was 10 times worse than this. Except you got paid data spiffs and boost spiffs. I dunno, It's nothing new to me. I'm kind of used to getting jerked around. I was ambassador for for three months and then they started giving us commission. It sucked having to sell for other people that whole time. On my own I did 32 activations last month and this month I'm only doing 14 right now. I would have loved to have gotten paid for last month but oh well. We are dealing.

So nextel is what brought this sh*tty commission structure to me. I couldn't imagine 10 times worse, so I guess you can enjoy this new structure then?? Here's a tip for ya, every add-on that's one month free....make sure everybody you deal with gets it đ You'll make some nice extra cash this way. This is the only good thing about the new structure.

A quota of 60? christ. mine's only 26 so i dont' have the option of accelerated.

yea, quota of 60...It's alot, but we pile up numbers at my store. The funny part, 95% of the people that activate in my store, have to pay deposit. Even without accelerators, I would still like to have a quota of 26. Targeted at risk is like 550 for both of us, so do the math on that one đ

Well with a quota of 26 you wouldnt be able to qualify for the accelerator. I have a quota average from 50-56 and average about 60+ a month. Yea i loved the old structure because i would hit 36acts + every two weeks at least once a month. So on a good month i would take home about 1800 every two weeks! going to miss those checks.

I know what you guys mean... âšī¸ I am gonna miss that old commiss. structure too!!! As for my store, we also have a high quota... THE highest in our district with average of 55-60 per rep, and 27k-30k in accessories as a store...NOT to mention the fabulous product of Long Distance. I've been with Sprint for 5 months, and was gettin used to taking home 3000-3300...YEAH, TAKE HOME !!!! đĸ

Know what really sucks about this whole commission change. We are being grandfathered in. But if I take a promotion, I will be losing money since I am in a B store. If you change postion and it is not a horizontal move (meaning same title) you will not longer be grandfathered in. So basically, you will make less money after being promoted.
