how do u know? u the INside man? hah...
...
I have always have been but I just haven't been free. if you ask nextel18 he will probably deny it. but he knows its true.
...
All of those that i know are accurate. so i belive em =D
...
Of course they are, I Work for them..
...
them being who?
They don't exactly give sales reps info on phones being released 3 months down the road.
...
hey man, its almost the end of july and no go on the phones yet. this happened about a year ago with the A800 phone, took them forever to release it. im curious about the a900m, do you have any updated info?
...
Is there more info and maybe pics for the Samsung A900M and the Samsung A720?
...
Nope nothing yet, but will let you know if i find somthing
...
Um... I thought we were supposed to keep this kind of stuff quiet? Aren't you breaking a sprint rule or something?
...
Dude, lighten up. Its the internet. 😎
...
Yep, and I got crapcanned from VZW for exactly this.
...
Maybe, but what I'm really doing is satisfying customers who are looking for new phones, and want a reason to stay with us because of our phones.
...
Besides, i would hope phonescoop wouldn't give us up =p

If accurate, this list is very disappointing. Only one Windows Mobile device - the old tyme 700.
Where is the Moto Q??
Is Sprint purposefully positioning itself as the anti-business carrier?

well from all of the sprint business commercials... i dont think so.

What they say in commercials and what they actually provide doesn't seem to jibe.
Sprint keeps pumping out these candy-colored toys for teens. Where are the real PDA/business phones? That's all I'm saying.
I know the usual answer to this is, have you seen the 6700?
Yes, I have. And it is a brickish, flimsy piece o' crap.
My business, like 90% of most large companies, is Windows-driven. We need Windows phones.
...
what exactly do u need a windows phone for... I have dozens of BUSINESS customers who have palm based devices that are not losing out on anything. Especially with the 700p, which has been improved because it now handles exchange servers! Please, just take the time to educate yourself to the new devices and perhaps there is an answer to your problem. unless you just wanted to complain...
...
because we don't carry the Q, are u smoking crack man. Sprint has only carried three motorola's, and all three of them have sucked terribly! Why would they invest in another of Motorola's debacles?

Thanks for the 'helpful' info, Sprintmmk.
Our IT dept does not support Palm. Besides, that OS seems to be rather dated.
All I'm saying is, I am sitting on a huge business contract and I'm finding it harder to keep it with Sprint. This is based on our requirements.
Instead of apologizing for Sprint, why not just admit they didn't anticipate the PDA/Phone market correctly.
There is room for both the teeny-bopper, music playing, txt messaging phones and the useful phones for grown ups. I feel Sprint should offer more (some!) of the latter.

if you think sprint is the most nutorious for these types of phones then your crazy... Cingular/t-mobile/verizon is probably worse at promoting these expensive phones that basically do everything except have good call quality! And sprint does offer "useful phones for grownups" ... i just bought one and its great. dont dog a carrier because they dont cater to your specific needs... if you dont like what they got simply go to another carrier, like cingular or t-mobile the "cheerleader companies"

This isn't a problem of meeting my personal needs. I am a procurement officer for a fairly large company. I'm sitting on a hefty contract that I'd like to renew with Sprint. But unless we get more options in regards to true business phones, I'll have to look elsewhere.
I know other buyers with other companies who are facing the same dilemma.
I am unable to get any useful info via the sales rep route, so I thought I would try to go back-channel via the web. However, all I'm getting here is 'dont dog a carrier' crap from dopey 15 year olds.
Anybody have any useful info or even rumors?

I hear what you are saying about the business phones. From 2000 - 2004 sprint lead the industry in phone design. However, with their allegance to companies like Samsung and Sanyo, their design has become lackluster. I would suggest Verizon. I currently am a VP for a bank and we receive a 22% discount with verizon and I have never been happier. Dropped calls seem less and the phones are top notch. I currently have the Razor V3m and have never been happier. Sprint Launched the "Blade" to compete with the Razor and I had that phone for 4 days and then decided to cancel everything. Verizon Business is top notch. I also recommend Cingular over sprint. My business counterpart has their service and swears by it. Your reps will thank you!! I say Wal...

wow... EVERY carrier now is doing the "teeny-bopper" phones advertising... well guess what, my business gets a HUGE business discount from sprint for having their service, something all of the other carriers in my area couldn't offer to me. Sprint offers awesome mid-range phones that don't have all those bells and whistles that our business people use.
...
what kind of "true business phones" do you need?

Saw the dummies for the Sanyo 2400 today. The look exactly like the 3100 without a camera on the outside. However, it does appear to have a changeable faceplate like the 8300 has. Not sure about this, but that is what it looked like.

Most of the time with phonescoop when certain phones are close to their release dates, they show you the phone and next to the carrier it shows "tentative", are you sure about this models being relased? they are not even coming up at all, people won't even know what they look like until they hit the stores? is that how it is? I've been researching the KATANA for a while and is still not coming up under phonescoop, so how come is so close to being release and still no info can be found on it..?
...
They may not have as good of resources for collecting info on CDMA handsets - a lot of times I don't see the handset on PS until AFTER it's been released...
...
Are they going to stock new phones in stores on a Sunday, which is 6/26? I'm ready to pick up an A640...
...
I mean Sunday is 6/25. You know what I mean... sorry.
...
Legacy Nextel will get them week of 6/26.
Legacy Sprint will get them week of 7/3.
...
whoa same ol ****. i see no new 3meagpixl anything. no new luxury phone. in fact nothing really groundbreaking. nothing even a step up from anything. sprint is turning into hot steaming turd very fast.
...
Dude chill. They're just phones. I don't see any really cool phones on any other carrier right now either. And really if you want a 3 mega pixel camera buy a camera.
