If it wasn't for the Bluetooth in the 710, I would 100% go with the LG VX7000. I had a chance to try both this weekend. No release date soon for 710, but the 7000 is very close. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

I know this is the forum for th V710. I am interested in the SCH-A670 by SAMSUNG. No one seems to respond much in it's forum. Does anyone know when the SCH-A670 might be released? Any info. is appreciated.

There are too many rumors to even sort out floating around this forum and HoFo. Basically i think some were started just to generate hype for this phone.

I have a big night on the 22nd and would love this phone for it. I might try to get this phone before school on Friday, I can hardly wait. My only concern is that it will be bulky. But it will be worth it!

The 21st is only days away and I can barely wait to trash my sch-a310 for a brand new V710!!! Don't lose hope people, only 3.5 more days! which means 60 more hours, or 3600 more minutes... I'll let you figure out seconds if you are really bored

Well, if you've heard my story, my phone is dead.

Now, you may be asking why I want to get the same phone again when I would probably be easier to go down the street and buy a cheap $30 phone and wait for the V710. Well, I really want to pretend that this accident never happened. So I want the same phone and just to get on with my life.

How exciting and dramatic, I'm sure you all just love listening to my very exciting stories.

Like everyone else, I am dying to get my hands on the v710. My one question: does anyone know if the charger connector is the same size as the v60/T720/T730 phones? I have a lot of connectors in my home, and lots of friends still have v60s and 720s/730s, and it would be nice to be able to use those same chargers to charge up the 710.

I own(ed) a Motorola T720 through Verizon. Several months ago I was talking on the phone while washing my hands at a public restaurant and all of a sudden the phone died. Apparently I did not dry my hands enough. But this just goes to show you how sensitive this phone is to water. I then went to my local VZW store and they told me that it was ruined by water and that I would have to pay the full retail price to get another. I then asked my elderly mother to go to the store to see what happens. They then gave her a brand new phone.

Anyways, to get to my point... Tonight (for the first time in the several years of having a cell phone) I lost my pho...

I was in the store getting my wifes 4500 fixed, I asked the repair rep (just for laughs and giggles) about the v710, he said as far as he knows mid june, he then asked his manager who walked by and he said "yep, thats the new date...I hope" . Good news? bad news? ehhhh..ill just stop by the store everyday until it comes out..WEEEE! 😕

I hope everyone here will be okay if the v710 isn't released this Friday. If not, it's been a fun ride.

May 21st is this Friday. I think everybody can handle waiting the next three days to find out if it will actually come out or not.

I emailed that moto next off the moto webpage and all of a sudden, they emailed back (remember that these r the guys that emailed all of us 5-21 for the last 2 months)that "release is first or second week of June". Knowing VZW, I wouldnt b surprised if on 5-28 to 6-1 or thereabouts (that whole big weekend release stuff) they will pop the 9900/670/7000 one or all, and then in late june/early july (july 4 weekend) they will then pop the 710. Then again, in 36 hours (thursday morning in washington state) HERKVR will call his chick friend at the store and she will confirm or deny the thursday shipment she told him about. We'll know in 36 hours. Tick tock tick tock

As a Motorola and Verizon investor, I asked to speak with a supervisor, at Motorola. I was nicely accommodated, and was told " the original release date was in fact the end of May. no date specified. I have been told that "the phone is slated to be released to the carrier (Verizon) in June". I asked, when in June? I was told "toward the end of June".
I asked him what was to stop them from releasing it Christmas. I was told that anything was possible, but it wasn't likely". He seemed to stand very firm on "the end of June". --- I was actually hoping to put some more money in both Motorola and Verizon stock, but I'll wait and see if MCI and Enron does better. Hmmmm maybe Haloburton would be better...

I just talked to a friend @ Moto who said he got out of a big meeting yesterday & in the meeting they stated that the 710 will be released first sometime in the third week of June & the 810 will fallow shortly after. 😎

Sorry for filling up the forum with this useless thread, just felt like lightening up the mood. I'm feeling the anticipation as well, much like when I was waiting for my car to arrive back in the day. It's fun. Feel free to yell at me all you want, no worries. What's going to suck is that when the v710 finally arrives then the anticipation will be over but it will be replaced by satisfaction, unless this phone sucks.

Both of you keep saying that the v710 is in INFOMANAGER...ive looked--i dont see it...could u please help me find out where it is that you are seeing...thanx
