I got some information about the release date of the phone. My friend who has been dead two years came to me in a dream and told me that the phone will come out of next week and Santa Claus would be handing them out for free!!!!!

Sorry about the title of the thread but come on people this is only a silly little phone so why is everybody pulling their hair out of their heads? I want the phone too but I'll just have to have patients and wait for it.

I remember someone said that there is only one phone number per name on this phone contact list, if that is true how will that work if I want to sync it with my palm pilot contacts or with iSync address book with my Mac through the bluetooth. How will it put the entries in when I have like 4 phone numbers per name? Just curious if anyone knows.

does anyone think the samsung a670 will compare to the v710 in any way?

I currently have the T730 and have a lot of problems with it. I use my phone 30+ hours a week and have every Motorola accessory for this phone (even have 2 or 3 of the same accessory). I especially like (in concept) my professional install car kit for this phone. However I have a lot of issues with this phone when it is in the hang-up cup or attached to my wife's Self-Install Hands-Free Car Kit HF600. The phone becomes VERY slow when connected to these devices. I have about 120 names stored a have the latest S/W rev on the phone. I know the phone is not out yet but does anyone who is Motorola or Verizon employee know if this phone has been FULLY test with the accessories mentioned above? Can you close the phone and put it on speaker like the V600??

Does anyone know if the camera can act as a standalone feature for taking pictures and uploading said pictures to a PC, all without the need of Verizon?

I've heard everything from $150 to $400 for this phone. Does anyone have an idea what the price will actually be? I am interested in the price with a 2-year agreemane (of course).

Seems that a new independant film called "String Theory" has been produced to follow the exploits of a cat named "Dan" as he uses his V710 in all sorts of situations.

You can register for the "premiere" of this film over at Moto....just in time for Cannes, apparently.

Does anyone know if this phone will support flash animation?

I have always liked samsung and with a speaker phone and voice independent dialing, I would think the a670 would be the favorite between it and the vx7000 and 9900 but that just isn't the case. Is there something I'm missing and am not considering?

I just talked to verizon located in PA,within the past 5 minutes, and they told me that they dont know the release date of the V710, yet they do know that Early June, Mid June and Late June, new phones will becoming out.
