Has anyone tried to upload new Frames to the phone? Does anyone really care? 🙄

Frames are created in a .PNG format.

I used Photoshop to create a .PNG, but can't send it to the phone. It says it's an unsupported format.

I see empty slots in the Frames folder, but apparently they haven't provided any way to get new frames into the phone.

what would you get v710 or 9900

Anyone know where i can get one? i just switched to this phone from my v710 and i loved the case i had with the swivel belt clip.... is there one available thats NOT OEM or anyone wanna sell theirs? Also is there any chance of a body glove swivler in the future?

I put in my list of events to remember in the scheduler...and yesterday a certain event pertaining to school was scheduled with the alert reminder and everything...but my cousin's birthday alert popped up instead, which is due for later this month...any suggestions as to why this happened? I checked the dates and times but everything was the way it was supposed to be 😕

I can't f*&%$N believe it. I went into a VZW store in Manhattan today and inquired about the 9900. I told them I knew I wasnt up for any upgrades and that I wanted to buy the 9900. She said ok, but they need to order it from the warehouse. She said no Verizon store has any left and that the 9900 phone is being discontinued. The only way to buy the phone is to order it through the store and have it shipped to either your home/store/work. I asked what happened and all she said was that they all sold out like hot cakes because it was such a good phone for so cheap and thats it...no recall, no problems at all. Whatever is left in the warehouse any any more sent there will be it.
I cant believe it, I have never seen a phone be out for on...

For anyone out there having the same problem removing mobile im from your phone, I called verizon and they told me it was a software defect and to take it to a nearby verizon store and have them reflash the software. This process can take anywhere from 20 to 25 minutes

I have been thinking about switching to Verizon, and these are still at my local store. Is it worth it to get one before they are gone?

I just purchased 2 CDM-9900's and am looking to
buy a usb cable and some software to manage the contacts. Any suggestions?

I looked on ebay, and some of the stuff there was more expensive than buying the Verizon Mobile office kit. 38 dollars direct from Verizon.

Maybe once I have the usb cable, I can move some stuff back and forth to the media gallery?

can someone PLEASE tell me how to change the banner on the 9900? i cannot figure it out and i've been trying for 3 days now. also, how do you change the ringers for your text message inbox and voicemail? someone please help me out, it's driving me crazy. thanks!

I have had the CDM-9900 exactly (1) month come Election Day. The only thing that bugs me is the "Recent Calls" Section of the phone book and the lack of assignable Icons to phone book numbers which the CDM-9500 had. Why does the phone have to display the same redialed number multiple times? Annoying!! I hope there will be one software clean up later on to correct minor problems like this. Other than this I can find no fault.

i followed all of the steps from howard forums but i am still having trouble...the pix message i recieve says there is no sound, what went wrong????

I know this has already been addressed...but it's too far back to find. How do you add your own banner to the front? If anyone would post, or post the link to the thread that addressed this that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

My 9900 has a lot of free play in the hinge when its partly open. When partly open, the top half of the phone isn't held in place by the hinge if you don't hold it. Its kind of "floppy". Once fully open it clicks into place and is secure. I don't think it was this way when I first purchased it. Is this normal? It doesn't hurt the functionality of the phone, but it feels kind of "cheap".

OK so its discontinued, but that leads us to the future problem in regards to our phone insurance. If Toshiba is not going to work for audiovox anymore than does that mean the publics insurance claim will only last on how many phones are returned and refurbished? And once they run out they must give us a phone of equal or greater value...but Audiovox cant make any phone equal or greater without TOSHIBA. I had both the 8600 and the 8900 and they both sucked. Motorola has been very dissapointing for the last year or so with all their cheap plastic and shotty software. I think that LG will be the phone of choice along with Samsung.

Just got my phone....and verizon no longer has the leather case on the web...any recommendations..? Is this how accessories will be a year from now because the phone was such a limited offer?
