😁 Well hopefully they got stock so they can ship my phone.But anyways...

People say the speakerphone has to be open when u talk into it, and that it can't be closed, is this true?

And if so can you get the leather case and close it and it works fine?

Is there anyway to synch this phone with your PC and Outlook calendar the way you can moto and LG?

There has been alot of talk about Verizons crappy policies on warr replacements and exchanges on this and every message board.

I would just like to remind everyone that Verizon wireless does not Warrenty any phones. Manufactures Warrenty phones, hence why they call it a Manufactuers warrenty.

Warrenty Policies are set by the Manufactuer. They all have simular clauses to there warrenty, about physical damadge done to the phone and the like. They all also set different usage limits as to when a deffective phone should be replaced with a brand new, non refurbished unit.

These are not Verizons rules.

Also I would like all of you to try and warrenty replace a piece of electonics you buy at Best Buy, or any other store. They are go...

What are the default manual programming settings for the 9900? I modified mine and all of a sudden I was roaming, so I changed it back. It might be helpful for those who have screwed things up to have the default settings on here. Also, I want to make sure that I put everything back to how it was! 🙂

Ironically, I have a program of games which has some great midi tunes. I am able to save the midi tunes as individual files, and I would like to download them to use as ringtones. The one problem is that they are too large. Is there a way to shorten the file to use as a ringtone on the phone?

My NE2 is coming around this week. I thought this was the phone for me, however, I recently read a review that states you cannot DL pics from the camera via the USB cable. Is this true? How about ring tones, etc. ? Would the LG 7000 or SCH a670 be a better choice? 😕

At the Idle Screen you have 10 seconds to - -

Press: [Left Soft Key] + [7] + [*] + [*]

Then for the security code enter [0] [0] [0] [0] [0] [0]

This will enter the Test & Settings Mode were you can set the Preferred Mode...

"CMDA" or "Cell Only" for US cellular (or you local "Extended Network")...

"Automatic" for Verizon... "Analog" For Analog/AMPS

You can leave this area with the [END] key...

From now until you turn your phone off, you can enter the programming mode by doing a...

[Menu] + [7] + [*] This takes you to a "Debug" selection...

Press [OK]...

You are now in the Test & Settings Mode...

hey how do i send videos from my computer to my phone..how long or what format the video has to be.

😲 Well, ida no but on www.vzw.com, phones, it now doesn't say it's out of stock. Shipment came yesterday maybe that a rep was telling me?

How many photos will this phone hold? I see it only has 6.5 mb of ram. I'm considering this or the Samsung SCH-A670.

Just wanted you all to know that I emailed Audiovox directly and they told me that it isn't discontinued. They stated that they got quite a few inquiries on this subject matter and reassured me that I wasn't making a pointless purchase. Have a good day all 🙂

if i send a pic to multiple addresses at 1 time in 1 single message, do i get charged for each email address or just like 1 pic message?

also if i attach multiple pics to 1 email address (if possible) do i get charged for 1 single message or for each pic?

Please dont answer on speculation only if you know for sure cause this is very important to know.

I'm fascinated how there is so much talk in this (and Howard's) forum about people getting a brand new wonderfully-featured phone to just try out, with plans to return it within 15 days... just because they CAN. It appears that some folks change phones just about as frequently as they change their underwear.

No wonder the cost of Verizon's cellular phones and service is a bit higher than the competition. With all those returns, excess paperwork and wasted manpower, they have to charge us more.

No, I'm not employed in the cellular industry.

Really like this phone but I am only able to input 30 events in the scheduler beore it says "memory all used up". Does anyone know if this is fact and, if so, can this be corrected by a software update. Talking to VZ or the manufacturer has been fruitless. Thank you.

😲 can't believe some of the reviews I have read...if the phone was as bad as I've read I wouldn't own one...I rated it a 5 because it's a very good phone and a lot of other people rated it high 🙂 ...it's certainly the best phone on the market for the price and the reviews are better than the V710 & LG VX7000 so that should tell people something 😉 ...CDM-9900 is an awesome phone and yes it does have some short comings but most things do including us 😁 ...

Well I've upgraded to the 9900 only to find that they don't actually have any. So now I have no phone and no service (suspended so I'm not wasting $$$ for something I can't use). Does anyone know
anywhere the 9900 may be in stock? I'm driving across country soon and I need a phone!

My wife just got the 9900 it is great and everything, but we love ringtones/wallpapers, after searching for hours to see some really great things, it always shows no support for Verizon. Could some one please link some good ringtone/wallpaper sites? That support both the 9900 and Verizon? Besides all the get it now crap? Thanks in advance

i just compared the phones.. it says no ringers can be assigned.. well thats incorrect i own the 9900 and you can assign ringers as well as MP3 ringers.

not sure whos testing the equipment here but you need to look a lil bit more into the phone and make sure you know what your stating before you post.

Hey, just a question, is anyone else kind of concerned about the lack of apps on Verizon's Get it Now service? I know the phone just came out, and I know Get it Now's a ripoff, but I just want to know if usually it takes this long for applications to come out for a new phone.

Hey does this happen to anyone else or is the battery indicator alittle screwy? Sometimes if I leave my phone on it'll go down to red, and once I restart it it'll get 2 blues. Also, how long has anyone gotten regarding battery life? I've only had this phone for about 4 days but I pretty much have to recharge it every night (with moderate use). Is the 15.8 days alittle farfetched? And lastly, can anyone tell me how to force analog or force digital on this phone? Thanks alot
