To set this feature, click on Start | Settings | System tab | Clock & Alarms | More tab and it's the only checkbox on the screen.
Note that this will only display the clock presuming there is room on the title bar and the running app does not manually control the title bar (some apps do this to prevent any undesired-by-the-app content from appearing in the title bar and interfering with what the app is displaying there). Most of the default MS apps will display the clock if there is enough room (as in when in Landscape/Horizontal display mode).

The simplest way is to buy a trans-flash card for the phone (comes with an adapter that is SD card sized), and a card-reader to plug into your computer. Then you just use the card and transfer files to and from your computer via the card.
NOTE: I have an original V710 with the original software that fully allows file transfer via the card. Re-flashed and newer V710s have had some changes that also limit what you can transfer via the transflash card, but I do not know the specifics as it did not effect me so I did not pay close attention to it. Hopefully someone else that does will chime in and advize.

You must got to a VZW store and have the new software updated. It's free. It takes about an hour. Make sure you look at all your ringtones and games. Rarely, a software update can delete applications that you have on the phone. If this happens, call customer service and usually they'll credit was lost as long as the store notates the account that it was lost during the update.
