Motorola Q
Verizon infamous for delayed releases....
They claim it is due to their in depth testing...if that is the case why so many bugs in their phones?
Rmember the E815? took months and months to be released and then the entire shipment had the wrong software.
After that the phone had several other issues, mainly build quality.
Either Phone Scoop lets the cat out of the bag WAY TO EARLY, or the carriers really have no idea what they are doing with regards to testing.
This is my take on it.

I too have a V710 and watched Gleefully as the settlement went slipping into my cross cut shredder. Seriously... Verizon Delays Everything in some effort as to not to have a recall. The delays are completely indicative of their necessity to "Verizonize" their phones. This is of course, designed to cripple the functions and full capabilities in the name of shoving Pay Per Use service down your throat. The management and marketing teams haven't figured it out. What you ask? If they gave away the vast abilities of the phones, service, and network reliability, no other company could compete. As a result the majority of Cell customers would be owned by the KING, and would be happy subjects of the Kingdom. IF they made these features PART o...

So what u are saying the blackberry is 7130e is a good alternative to the q.But I like the main fact it has a mini sd slot.Which I could use a mini wifi card = free internett for the q

All I'm saying is:
1) The 7130 -RIM - and the Platform has been proven.
2) The SD-wiFi may not work if the phone has been Verizonized.
3) Another alternative is the Samsung 730i -which is really a POS. It had so much potential and then was Verizonized. Bluetooth was crippled and it never worked right with HFL.
4) Free internet?? The "Q" will need some form of Data Plan... I think?? Verizon charges for the Data Plan (I'm Sure of that). So other than getting to your own PC via an internal network, you really don't gain a ton. There is a USB port to run Active Sync so you have a connection to your PC. Sure, I'm overlooking stuff. The reality will be how it works for "YOU" and if it fits your lifestyle. For me the Sammy 730i was great ...

Hey - if it's worth anything...
The Q will rock. I have seen it, played with it and it really cool phone and PDA. Would I trade my Treo 650 for it? Nope. I have had almost every Win Mobile 5 device and PocketPC phone out there and I keep going back to the 650.
If I had to pick a favorite Smartphone it would be the Cingular 2125. Great phone, good OS, integrates with GoodLink but no qwerty. Nobody is perfect.
Don't get a blackberry - it's not actually a PDA and they are not terribly good phones. Half the reason to get the Q is b/c it's cool and new. There is nothing cool or new about blackberry. 😛
