Re: Regarding This Post- (Note):

I definately believe Verizon is NOT worth the price in the Southern California market.
That's where I spend a lot of time, and I strongly disagree.
I gave Sprint a chance, Verizon was better. End o' story. But given that VZW is pissin' me off with their crippled bluetooth and crippled mp3 crap, I'll be happy ta give Sprint a looksee once my contract is up to see if they're on par with Verizon by then.
Re: Regarding This Post- (Note):
All good points, but the iPod really is unbeatable when it comes to storage capacity and song pricing.
Sprint would have to cut their song prices by half and start rolling out some hard-drive (or very large flash capacity) phones to really be competitive.

Sounds like a whiner to me.
I think carriers should unlock the phones... All phone ESN's should be in all compatible networks... Offer a discount for a specific contract term, or pay full price and be able to port the phone.. Not hid behild smoke and mirrors..
As a note... The phones could be ported if the carriers would allow it... Or, the government would mandate it... I have recieved refurbished phones with data from various competitive carriers to Verizon that were flashed to Verizons software... A call to Verizon Management confirms that a 3rd party company takes Sprints, Verizons and other smaller carriers CDMA, EVDO, 1X phones.. Repairs them.. Flashes to whomever's software and sends it to that carrier...
Re: error in the story
I think "a media player" is the correct usage of the indefinite article. See definition below. Sorry, I couldn't resist.
BTW - Haven't seen a Nokia phone that hasn't disappointed me.
INDEFINITE ARTICLE
A / AN
Use 'a' with nouns starting with a consonant (letters that are not vowels),
'an' with nouns starting with a vowel (a,e,i,o,u)
