Nope. MayB check HowardForums?

Gotta wonder if Verizon is gonna get the black RAZR first when it comes to the CDMA side though. Amp'd Mobile, fr' instance, it gonna get a black Moto e815 soon, a phone that VZW doesn't have (they of course do have the regular silver 815).

The black RAZR is exclusive to Cingular through May of 2006. No other carrier can get one until that agreement runs out.

I think the grey one sucks. Is a big reason I haven't bought it yet. Definately like the black one better.

Funny.. I really prefer the way the grey RAZR looks. 🙂

The black is nice too, but I dunno... just doesn't do it for me, for some reason.

When VZW and Motorolla agree on the amount of times the VZW logo will appear on the phone.

Just in case you're unsure who your service provider is.

Unfortunately the RED/BLACK clashes with BLACK.

With that being said, I ask the reader,

1. HOW MANY TIMES does a Verizon Logo appear on your equipment?

2. Can you get rid of the Boot-Up Screen/Shutdown Screen that eats atleast 10k of your phones flash ram? (I recall having the ability to get rid of it in Windows 95/9😎

[LG-VX7000] - Once on the Silver Screen Surround. Twice on the black flip cover.
Thrice on the battery (this time in Black though).

RED hardcoded interface with a crooked V next to the signal meter.

Moto E815.

1. Right below the outer screen.
2. Below the inside screen.
3. On the outer screen while in a call.
4. On the leather case I no longer use.

My car charger was bought back in the days of the V120c, pretty sure there's no logo there. I bought the plastic holster directly from Motorola. I also bought the Motorola EVA pouch directly from Moto.

I believe cingular has the exculsive on the Oscar Wining Phone. and It will come in GSM only, CDMA is somehow physically different I believe.

The CDMA verision also has a different model number.

Cingular's exclusive on the black RAZR runs out in May, I'm told.

An' of course, Verizon already has a standard metallic grey-colored RAZR.

Unfortunately, Verizon's RAZR is only metallic *colored*, since the phone is made of plastic.

That doesn't seem to be the case. :

Motorola has put design and aesthetics high on the list of priorities by creating the RAZR V3 completely from metal-alloy. Therefore, in addition to being remarkably thin, the RAZR V3 is not surprisingly lightweight as well, weighing a mere 95 grams. Functionally, due to its thinness, plastic would inherently be too fragile. Therefore, the anodized aluminum casing was needed for stability, durable enough to withstand everyday wear and tear in addition to the occasional bump or drop.

My bad.. that review was for the V3, not the V3C. Here's the V3C info. Still appears to be an aluminum phone. :

Yes different model number for a phone that has more features including EVDO.

1. 30mb of memory vs. Cingular's 5mb.
2. 1.3megapixel camera vs. Cingular's VGA only
3. Speaker Independent(allows customers to "say a command" without having to pre-record voice commands) vs. Cingular's Speaker Dependent
4. 72 polyphonic sounds vs. Cingular's 22
5. a...

Hene not what that user was looking for, which was the famed "BLACK RAZR".

I say NEC L1 or Moto SLVR 7 instead of either.

Absoultely the CDMA version is a different phone all-together. Whether or not they decided to spraypaint it black thats another story. 😁

I like the charcoal dark silver color..gives it flava.

Heh, reminds me when I had a Grey Moto T720 GSM, while my friend had an all Silver T720 for VZW.

His 2 covers were exactly the same color as the base. It made his phone look 10 times cooler.

I had to get them, I looked everywhere for them. :-). Finaly I got replacement ones from AT&T wireless store, (this is after buying some white ones and spraypaiting them BMW Silver Laquer, that quickly rubbed of)

I guess its natural to always want what you cannot have but can see.

LOL! 😁

At least its not as bad as the avalanche of 'Where's the RAZR?' posts that finally got quashed with the phone finally bein' released.

Yeah, there's a subset of RAZRians (lol) who jus' GOTTA have black, but the majority like the current color an' aren't gonna whine about it.

And then there are people like me who arent impressed with the RAZR at all. I tried them all out and went with the 8100 in hopes that they will eventually get EV-DO coverage in Nashville.
I think the Samsung MM900 is a better phone (at least layout and looks wise) than the Motorola RAZR.

The Sammy MM-A900 beats the VZW Razr hands down with maybe one exception. Battery life!! I am currently with Nextel looking to switch. Can't find a reason to go from Nextel to Sprint, therefore no MM-A900 for me. Still undecided about the VZW vs. Cingular switch. Live in Connecticut where both have great coverage. Suppose I need to just find a phone I like and go with the carrier that has it....

Welllll.. i would recommend Verizon thats for sure.. then again I can also recommmend Cingular since I have both.

Overall I am more pleased with Verizon service and coverage though. But I have a lot of family in Kentucky and Cingular for some reason has MUCH better coverage there.

Is it just the color or the price? If you are refering to the "Back in Black" Razr cingular offer consider the verizon v3c has a 1.3 mp camera and much more memory capacity. If ya just want it in black then maybe we should just order several different color phones in all shades of the rainbow to please everyone. In doing so though we would pass along the higher cost of them all to the customer as that would increase the cost from the manufacturer over producing just one color. Don't worry though we have a pink one coming soon for valantines day just for YOU.
