Pic Messaging to Verizon line...

OK... so whenever I try sending my buddy a picture message, I can't do it. I get an error on my T-mobile SDA saying "Recipient address not resolved". He recently started a new line with Verizon (2 months back) and since then, never been able to send him pics UNLESS I'm sending to him AND someone else. Weird, huh? And he's the only person that I cannot send pics too. I never have the problem with any other person using Verizon or any other carrier. I have used his number with and without the 1 in front of the area code, with different handsets, and no luck.

Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this problem?

I need your technical help...

Hello everyone~

Here's my situation - I have a proprietary tech product that I am planning on introducing to the cellular phone market and I need some help. This is not a gimmick - I think this would be a great product, but I need some technical help.

I have the basics figured out, but I want to talk with someone who has professional, top-level knowledge of cell phone architecture/software/hacking and general hardware, ideally across multiple carriers. I'm not looking for someone to share any industry secrets, just someone who knows the industry and wouldn't mind lending some serious knowledge.

This is a real opportunity and would include the signing of a confidentiality agreement and potential reimbursement for your time and experi...

cliques and phones

This is a guide I made for teens who want a new cellphone, and want one to suit their personality. I don't want to offend anyone, even though I have no idea what could be offensive in here.

The goths and emos-
Usually something dark colored with a camera. The dragon tattoo RAZR from t-mobile is usually the case. If you have a fat wallet, hold out for the sidekick LX. Everyone loves a sidekick.

The preps and jocks-
Anything pink for the girls, and probably blue or gray for the guys. It must be shiny. A blackberry pearl or a RAZR will do. I have seen the blue KRZR from AT&T, and many will follow with that one. If possible, stay away from the RAZR since it is so mainstream.

The nerds-
Most would expect a smartphone, Most nerds like...

First Take on Gryphon

So I finally got my hands on the new Palm Gryphon/Centro/Gandalf/690, man all these names are annoying. The flyer next to the display said "Coming Soon Palm Gryphon," while the "My Treo" application in the phone has been changed to "My Centro," while the battery had the name "Gandalf" printed on it, and last but not least, the SKU in Sprint's system gives it the official model number 690.
I think its safe to say though that Sprint is going to go with the name Gryphon based on the signage and an internal email.

My first opinion... "I LIKE!" (Borat voice)

Here are the specs I discovered... and just so I'm not burned for it later, in case anything changes, there was a large tag that said "Early Test Unit" on it.

Same Palm OS 5 with ab...

Turning off EVDO on VX8300 after software update

Today I was in Verizon and had my VX8300 software updated, at their suggestion. Now I cannot access the network select to turn off evdo any longer. When I go to menu then push the 0's nothing happens. No 7 x's appear like before. If I'd known that I would never have let them update the software. Any suggestion?

Stereo Bluetooth/A2DP question...

Hi. I just won a Motorola Rokr S9 through a Moto sweepstakes and I was wondering if anyone knew any phones that can use stereo bluetooth. I am sure the Razr2 can but it is currently out of my price range. I am an Alltel user and was wondering if there was any other option for me at the moment. 🙂 Thanks for any help you can provide.

Bluetooth in Car???

I posted this on a different thread and then realized this was really the place for it!

I am about to make a new car purchase and it has bluetooth in it. Are there certain phones that work better with the bluetooth in cars? I knew someone with an Acura and he said that his phone would work great with headset bluetooth but not with his car bluetooth. Any ideas? I'm deciding between the Motorola V9M or one of the two new LG's due out on Wednesday (probably the LG vx 10000).

PC Sync

I'll try this here since I posted under the Razr2 and zero people responded.

How well does PC Sync work? Can someone post a little video on youtube or something?

Show me creating a contact and appointment in Outlook and maybe saving a phone number and creating an apointment on the phone and then syncing?

Thanks.
