I am sick of hearing everyone fighting back and forth on who has the best coverage.... Verizon or Cingular. There are a lot of intelligent people on this site and it confuses me that there is this much fighting. The answer is black and white. Cingular has the most customers out of any of the carriers. That has nothing to do with coverage area. A Verizon phone will work in more places then a phone from any other carrier. There are dead spots for everyone, but hands down there is no question that the physical coverage of Verizon's network is the largest. Cingular has great coverage and is large, but not quite as large as Verizon's. SO STOP FIGHTING.

Verizon's selection of phones is getting boring. Do any of you know if they plan on releasing any of these new phones by thanksgiving time? I'm really hoping they'll come out with a slider with camera and video like sprint and cingular offer.

i was wondering if virgin mobile is gonna come out with any new phones any time soon cuz i wanna buy the flasher v7 but if they are coming out with anything new like in the next moth maybe 2 i'll just wait. so yeah my vox 8610 got wet so it's broke so any1 know wut to tell a rep so i can get a reduced Price on a new phone?

I was talking to a tmobile Manager for Tmobile and he said "Tmobile is releasing 16 Handsets before the end of the year" I started to laugh! I mean that would be great, but I'll believe it when I see it! 😎

AT A party given by O2 and aimed at monthly consumer titles, the INQ appears to have stumbled across an impressive new Samsung Windows smartphone. It's either called the i300 or the 300i.
Anyway, the crucial point about this handset is that it will feature a 3GB hard disk. The specs that the INQ has seen confirm this because it's supposed to hold up to 1,000 music files (and a typical MP3 is 3-4 MB).

The specs also confirm that the handset is intended to be used to download music from online stores. Given that this is a Windows based handset, that will mean owners can go to sites supp...

I just got a LG UX4750 and its great!

I live in the boonies and this phone works awesome. I have had UsCellular for over a year now and i am very pleased. I live a ways out and i was excepting the fact that cell service at my house is just not going to be that good. UNTIL NOW!

Not only can i walk through my whole house with this phone BUTT!!!!! The push to talk fuction is great! My Dad is a couple hundred miles away (yet with the local area) and talking with him is like he is next door. The delay is minimul and the network is flawless! Only ten bucks more for unlimited speedtalk use!

Notwithstanding the announcements of 3 - 5 - 7 mpx camera-phones ... at theat the 1.3 of the i730 is the first "usable" camera avalable; (at least in a PDA type phone).

I hate to say it; but I am sorta hoping it will be either Sprint or Nextel .. I think my company is working on a national plan with them.

(and once you "buy" a phone .. you are stuck with it .. so I am trying to decide whether or not to go with either the Treo or Audiovox ... or WAIT for the i730)

Just out of curiosity when you go to the movies do you ever try to identify the phones you see on the screen? For instance even though you only see the face twice through the whole movie did you notice that Brad Pitt's character in Oceans twelve used the Siemens S66 and Danny Ocean used the SL66? I know that phones are making appearances in major motion pictures, and being a realist I realize the company's making these phones are paying a lot of money for these phones to be in movies, but do you think it's doing anything for the market? Also I was hoping you might list other phones you've seen in other movies. Just wondering.

Everyone! I spoke to cingular today and asked them if I upgrade from my ATT plan to Cingular Nation with Rollover about mMode and she said mMode is a very limited service and they are not keeping it. I would need to select a medianet plan. I used one of the free tester phones in the Cingular store and noticed that medianet is FAR and I MEAN FAR!! from mMode and not in the positive way. mMode tries to help you around your travels by finding friends in the area, finding your nearest starbucks and getting driving directions to the Starbucks from your current location, email, messaging, and just several services we all come to use. Medianet doesn't offer these services but they allow you to browse the web or pay additional fees to subscrib...
