i am with sprint and love it. i heard that after the sprint and nextel merger verizon and the sprint/nextel campany will merge and cingualer and t-mobile will merge. is any of this true or is it false. thanks for your help.

Anyone hear anything about a new display Kyocera might be working on? It supposedly uses some type of mirror to reflect direct light into the display and make it brighter and more vibrant.

Mainly would be interested in basic phones without cameras, and other unused features. (Just use a phone as a phone. I have a camera and a computer)
I prefer bar phones over "fold-up" phones. I thought I had read that a couple of the major mfrs. are going to come out with basic phones - but didn't see what bands they will operate on. I just picked up a Moto V188 fm. T-M since, as a long time customer, heavily discounted it. Just wondered what else might be out there.

I've tried contacting T-mobile directly several times as to the status of this phone, and can't get a straight answer. No one will confirm even *if* they'll carry the Treo 650, or when they might decide to carry it. At this point, if I could get a firm release date I think I'd be happy.

Does anyone out there have better information about it? Should I just give up and jump to Cingular or get an unlocked?

we all know that Cingular hasnt been the best about cust serv...some reps are great..i consider myself one of them...but you gotta admit we got some dumbazzes working for us...and it only take them talking to one customer to ruin it for the person they talk to next....look people we have great tools in our computer USE them....have a great day

Now that the TREO 650 has been released. HAs anyone heard when we can expect the new Bluetooth LG and Motorola phones from Verizon Wireless?

It's time for me to get a new phone, my contract is up with Verizon, but should i wait? I am looking for a relatively small bluetooth enabled phone with or without a camera but i do not see any....is there any out right now that anyone here would recommend, i just want it to fit in my pants front pocket and not be too buley, i liked the size of my previous phone, however i do not think many more phones will be that small, i had the samsung a530s. Are there any new phones coming out that i should wait for that have what i want ( bluetooth,small) and if so, how long would one presume i would be waiting?

Why has this not been made available for cingular customers yet?

Anybody have any idea if Cingular is planning on having an Unlimited Text Messaging plan.

I send and receive about 5000 a month. the 2500 isnt enough and its the only thing preventing me from signing up with Cingular

I would think they have to soon to compete with Verizon's text plan

I've heard now from 2 customers and an employee's parent that somehow, someone is going to publish everyone's cell number.

Now from what I've seen/heard, the only companies in the US that release their customers numbers to outside sources for lookup or telemarketing are Cingular/AT&T and T-Mobile. Sprint and Verizon are adamant about not releasing the numbers, again from what I've seen/heard.

Has anyone heard anything re this? If so, post what you've heard!
