No new phones, enough crashes reported by thouands of users on net, makes hammer head phones & charges a lot... But only thing is clarity in reception is humongous. Is this phone company up for sale now or just for time to kill itself???

Some master dealers i know are talking about how Helio is going down slowly but surely because of its low low credit needs. Basically anyone can get in, and i guess they are not paying there bills. Has anyone else heard anything about this? It makes sense to me but im wondering if any one has other sides of this coin.

Anyone else out there getting tired of waiting for Verizon to announce whether or not the MAXX is coming to Verizon and if so, when?

It is turning up everywhere except Verizon. I even saw it on a soap opera this afternoon!

Reports have surfaced in various consumer blogs that Verizon Wireless is keen on acquiring Alltel. This news comes just days after Alltel's CEO Scott Ford gave a nod to old acquisition rumors by noting that the carrier is reviewing "a broad spectrum of options." Verizon spokesperson Jeffrey Nelson said "We have no comment on this." Alltel could not be reached for comment.

I heard other day that Alltel is getting the LG 8600 March 1st as a tri-mode. Anybody have any information?

I just heard about this new company, Total Call Mobile, which is a Sprint MVNO. What do you guys think about their prepaid plan. The rate is 10 cents a minute without any additional charges. Their website is totalcallmobile.com. Let me know your opinion.

With no roaming charges, Sprint customers can call from anywhere in the country there is a tower, no matter what carrier is covering that area. Power vision phones excluded as they are digital roam only.

Verizon, Cingular, covers X area, guess what. We roam on those towers for free. I am suprised nobody ever bring this up when a thread is started about "best coverage".

Sprint also has THE largest EVDO coverage area.

Anybody know of this phone that is coming soon to sprint?

All I can find out is that it's definitely EVDO and comes in blue or red.

I just paid a visit to my local Alltel location and unless I was being Punked, my rep just told me that The Q was being released to Alltel sometime mid Feb. They just completed the staff training on the Q and are expecting it anytime now.

Wow, I was really hoping that something new (besides the Strawberry Chocolate ) would come out in time for Valentine's Day. I suppose there's always the Red Krzr.

Janedough i am sorry 4 u. I too like 2 know when new phones are coming out so i don't rush to go buy something, when i can just wait and get what I want. I think the fact that we people who are wireless employees and none employees is the problem. of course people on the outside are not gonna know the rules of you job. Like myself, i just come here to get help from people who probably know alot more about phones that I do. I think her question was innocent, and she was simply just trying to get info.
