If you are a Cingular customer who is considering upgrading your phone consider this. If you have an old 32 or 64k SIM card and you upgrade at a retail store such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy or Circuit City you may be given a new 3G SIM card free of charge. But, if you decide to return the phone and cancel the upgrade, you may have to pay for the SIM card at that point. The reasoning is that once the new SIM card is activated the old one can no longer be used. And the new SIM is free so long as you keep the upgraded phone. If you don't pay for the SIM card the retailer may ask for the card back which leaves you without a working SIM card, hence no service. Just something to keep in mind. 🙂

I want to upgrade to Palm Treo phones, however my company requires that I stay with Verizon. Can anyone please comment on the Palm 700p vs Palm wx? And most importantly, does anyone know if Verizon will get the "new" Palm Treo 750 (thinner & internal antenna)?

Can some one please exsplain to me what linux is and what does this mean a better palm phone. I was going buy a palm phoone next month but if they are coming out whith a better one i will wait.

So I was just wondering if they r getting any new Nokias. Y is it that they get all the Nokias that arent built so good, They r VERY BULKY and ALWAYS HAVE AN ANTENA? Most of the other phones they get now r with internal Antena. The 6256i was good 4 a while but then it turned out 2 be awfull and ended up getting a samsung now..Im lookin 2 maybe get the newer Nokia if its any good and if they get one..Anybody know?

HOORAY! It's actually on the testman site. So that holds it probably right to the 24th release date because usually it shows up on the testman site about a week or so before release, right? I cannot wait to get it and get rid of my Q. (Posted on Verizon site also...just wanted everyone to know if they didn't already know).

Ok, I heard something bout a new EVDO package coming out that will include unlimited texts to any carrier (b/c of the stuff regarding instant messages) Can anyone confirm or hear anything like it? I hav ea friend at a local store that said it but WHO knows..he is way down the ladder.

Alright...I happen to work for the carrier that has the exclusive on this phone....or should I say will have when it is released.
Is it 3G or not...the apple website says nothing about it, but would Cingular bring a non 3G phone on board when that is the only direction they seem interested in going. Someone said that they may not be listing it as 3G because it will eventually be offered to other carriers...granted this is years down the road...but that other versions will not be 3G, as other carriers are not on that network.

Another thing.....really is anyone else thinking that because it is totally keyless....I mean how long is this screen going to last...I would be very reluctant to purchase the phone for that very reason. If this...
