I am a long time Nokia fan, but the N80 and N95 don't have 3G. If I'm going to spend a $400 or more on a device (unlocked of course) I want it to have all the latest tech.

Think about it, they bring out the portable then a phone later on. How about it?

my friend works in a call center and said a customer called in to see why when she holds down a certain button the phone would change her voice. do they make a phone that does that?

I have Seen and Touched the new Verizon Wireless PDA's

the first to come out will be the Treo 755P...Palm based PDA...Literally no difference from old 700P

Samsung i760- which I am very excited about...well put together...should be coming out about mid to late july

XV6800- the succeser to XV6700...Nice phone...great new updates and ease with new mobile 6....also mid to late july

Dont qoute me on dates because these are allways changing!

But these WILL be verizons new PDA...I have seen and tested a Few...

In today's Wall Sreet Journal(11/19/03 in the first paragraph:
" AT&T Wireless Services Inc. is making plans to lay off more 10% of it's 30,000 workers over the next year and outsource the jobs, according to people familiar with the situation."
Several paragraphs later:
"The bulk of the outsourcing being contemplated would be in customer care, which employs about 12,000 workers."
"The telecommunications industryis a likely target for future downsizing-even as profitability improves in the wireless sector-since a high percentage of telecom employees work in either customer care or IT, sectors where jobs are increasingly moving overseas."

I live in a area serviced by everyone but Verizon, yet I can not get a response from them about when They may get one in my area. Anyone have sources or info as to when and where they are putting new towers?

Can anyone add any insight to when or if BB will come out with a 3G phone for AT&T? If I search I always get a bunch of BS. Thanks in advance.

does anyone know or suspect if the competition from iphones will force prices of PDA's and smart phones to be more reasonable?

my t-mobile(so old its model# starts with a "7") blackberry ...finaly broke today...I've prepetually waited for the NEW "next" which is always 90 days away.

Today's research kicked my butt...

December's $399 Pearl is now $150...but T-mobile's 8800 or Verizon's 8830 seem to have better features...but not compared to AT&T's Curve...which will be old news compared to T-Mobile's 8320 that will "someday" come out, and then there's the att iphone which...and a verizon chocolate...and a cingular mustang...

I just recently purchased a blackberry pearl and I've been reading through some of the blackberry forums and heard a few rumors of a second pearl. Anyone have any info on this?

Is Verizon getting the BlackBerry Pearl? And if anyone has an input on these, would like to hear about it.

If theres any insight on the Verizon version and if there going to lock or hack the heck out of this phone / pda also would like to know ahead of time.
