I'm a verizon customer and I want a new phone. I'm considering getting the RAZR2 but want to know what new phones are on the horizon for verizon...

Not sure if anyone else has posted this, but I heard from a Blackberry rep today that an updated Pearl is due out some time in October for Sprint.

There's a review of the RAZR2 up at Wirefly's blog today, seeming to indicate that the phone will be available for four carriers very soon on their website.

Also sounds like a great RAZR upgrade with an external touch-screen. It'll be real interesting to see how Motorola prices this thing...

Does anyone know or have you read someplace where VZW is getting the Blackberry Curve?

I left Cingular for billing issues and NEVER ever had lost calls or dropped calls and there data package cant be bad, I know NY State use's AT&T and blackberrys for all there email and communications. I will say that VZW has been great over the last year, but if I am going to spend money on a smartphone I should be able to get the one with all the bells and whistles I like and need and not have to deal with second best. Also Moto Q Good ? Bad? for email and surfing the net

So what carrier is apple going to go with next will it be sprint or verizon. And who would be a better carrier for the phone.

I was looking at the approved device list (current phone s/w) the other day at work and noticed that a green enV is on there along with the v9m. Just thought I'd drop a line on that. See ya.

has anyone heard anything about Sprint's up and coming AIRAVE? I have a bit of an idea about what it is but nothing worthwhile (they don't tell us much). if you have an inside on the topic - let me know

Just wanted to see what everyone thinks about the Google Cellphone Theory. What if Google were to either create a cell phone company, or join with a current company, and offer free services (txt, data, and voice) in exchange for advertising on your phone. It is already apparent they are testing the concept with several manufacturers, and that it seems it would work to their benefit. Also, again hypothetically, if they were to do this and everyone joined them, would they be considered a monopoly? After all, the customer would never pay them a dime. Any thoughts?

I know it says that the Razr2 is coming out on Alltel and Verizon, but has anyone heard a date as for when this is coming to these Wireless Companies. I am looking forward to get the Motorola Razr2, I just dont know when.\

iv been told that the e815 is going to be end-of-life soon...the question is what could they possibly replace it with...to me it was one of the best motos ever made..anyone else know anything about this?

Ive been hearing a billion possible dates for the Razr2 v8 on tmobile from august 1 (didnt happen) to october (please dont let happen) if anyone works at tmobile, or has any insider info i would appreciate a approx. release date

Err, I'm so sick of Sprint having such ugly and non-updated phones, unlike Verizon with their enV and Chocolates and that really cool 2 Flip Samsung. Even T-Mobile gets new phones that are awesome! Sprint really needs to get on the band wagon here, their coolest phones are like 500$! which is ridiculous! Anyone have any info on upcoming phones?

I was told today that the RAZR v3 was being dropped by Cingular stores (Memphis) due to a tremendous amount of poor quality issues, such as screens blanking out, buttons not working, dropped calls, etc. Can anyone substantiate that move by Cingular?

And can anyone verify constant known problems with the latest units of v3, other than the issues they found and fixed? (I mean, the model is almost 4 years old and sold over 50 million - of course they would have found some problems by now, but they fixed them as I understand. There's no way its quality can be compared to another phone that's been out for only a few months.)

Also, I realize how general marking can work. Many times models are pulled from sales not necessarily due to quality ...

Does anyone know when Verizon is going to get new PDA's, particularly Blackberries? I saw on Phone Arena that they are getting the HTC Titan, but is there any word on the Pearl or the Curve or something similar? I've been due for an upgrade for a couple of months, but I'm waiting for something that is worth it. I love Verizon's service, so I will not switch, but we need more phones to choose from! Any answers would be appreciated.

ok, who knows anything about the HTC Touch, when it's coming to America & what carrier? I heard it applied for trademark & patents before Apple iphone, but guess who got the approval first? hhhhmmmmmmm! If it comes out soon, I'm getting it.
