TRUSTY OLD E815
iv been told that the e815 is going to be end-of-life soon...the question is what could they possibly replace it with...to me it was one of the best motos ever made..anyone else know anything about this?
...
I went from an E815 to a Nokia 6315 to an LG 8600. The Nokia I only used because I won it in a contest. It was OK, but I really love the 8600. My only dislike is the fact that they put a small battery in it (only 800 mAh), however, it still lasts as long as my 815 did.
I would avoid the current Motos. The only one that might break the mold is the Maxx VE. Reviews on PS are quite good.

There is no replacement for this once great phone

the Maxx Ve is garbage.

It is truly a beast and a great phone. IMO, one of the best Motos made.

Still got mine! Two to be exact.

"One of the best motos ever made" still isn't saying much. The E815 was a piece.

I can't seem to part with my E815 but my #3 and my CLR button are starting to go on it.
Do the Motorola phones out now allow you to Restrict Calls like the E815? So far I haven't found any, I was just wondering if anyone has come across one that has this function.
Also does Motorola have a phone out that has just as good of quality of speakers as Old Trusty?

The e815 was the best moto ever released 2 america. its one flaw was that it was just that good. I miss mine but I don't miss the problems it gave me such as not ringing or the charging port getting dirty and not working. the sound was tops.

Its gone here in Az now.
