I'm planning on switching from Verizon Wireless, and am considering Metro PCS and Boost Mobile.

I want web browsing (not just surfing - I want to be able to do things on websites just like on a computer - I don't know if that's possible) and especially to be able to send and receive e-mail messages, upload pictures, etc.

I know Metro PCS is very new in Los Angeles, and someone at my work says she has a friend who just moved here from Back East where she had Metro PCS, but that when she moved to Los Angeles, the coverage was very sketchy at best.

Has anyone tried Metro PCS in Los Angeles and used it in different parts of the Los Angeles area, and if so, with what success?

I don't know if this is true, but I heard that a lighter blue Chocolate is due to be released sometime very soon this month. Is that true? And if so, does anyone know anything more about it?

I heard verizon is gonna lose alot of towers since they are switching from cdma to gsm? is this true if so that means AT&T will be number 1?

Anyone heard anything about Boost unlimited moving into the Ohio Market. Heard a rumor, but maybe thats all that was. Is this true?

Well, I suppose the move to the 4G LTE platform will alleviate the whining, can't get enough of the latest and greatest technology folks. However you look at it, I suppose VZW will be offering all of the cutting edge technology handsets when the LTE rolls out. Hopefully they will roll it out when expected and don't delay. Seriously, just imagine the handsets they will be able to offer.
One thing I am concerned about is whether or not they will be able to win enough of the 700 MHZ licenses to augment and offset this step because the holes in their network that are filled by roaming agreements with Alltel and others will still need to be filled. So many things that could be said but I will wait and see what others have to say about it. :-).....

I have a PDA 700p with Sprint and I would like to upgrade my phone to a windows mobile based unit, should I buy the Mogul or wait for something better to come out, I wouldn't like to wait that long though.

So I've heard rumors about the price of the new iPhone... can't remember what they were off the top of my head but it doesn't really matter... The real reason I'm writing this is that I heard that there will be NO discount with a two year contract... Can anyone tell me about this? That doesn't make any sense to me...

Here are some new "unofficial" launch dates for 2 new AT&T Phones.

LG CU720 (aka, LG Shine): 11/14
Samsung SGH-a747: 11/20

Plenty of pics are available of the LG Shine using a simple google search, but so far there's no photos of the Samsung a747. But rumor has it it's going to replace the A707 (Sync).

I am in a forbarence market (means Nextel and Sprint are still very seperate and the hybrids/powersource phones do not work.) Does anyone know of any new IDEN only phones/blackberrys coming out. I went to upgrade the other day and they had all the same phones as the last time (2 years ago) that I was in there. ☹️

Salesperson at Nextel store told me that they were going to offer a new BlackBerry to replace the 7100i starting November 1st but so far nothing.
Does Anybody know if this is true when and what model will it be?

I have been reicieving calls from customers that they recieved a letter from AT&T that Cellular One will offically be AT&T as of the 1st of November. Has anyone here heard this? I work for cell one and havent heard anything about that yet 🤣

My brother told me today that there is going to be a "google phone" which is supposed to one up the iPhone and the voyager. I work for VZW and haven't heard a thing. Anyone else heard anything??

Does anyone know the actual release date for the Treo 755p on Verizon? Will it have "push" email?

I tried the Blackberry worldphone, and after the crashing issue was resolved, it is a fantastic product with full keyboard. EXCEPT it does not have a camera, and I want one.

Thats why I want the Treo 755p, so that I can get the camera and the email that I can always use. I have the Treo 700 now, and the only annoying thing is that the email only comes every 20 minutes, and there is severe battery drain.

Anyone have news for me?

I am really interested in getting the Treo 700wx, but have been holding off because of the no Get it now and/or no VZ navigator with a smart phone. I have been talking to VZW firmware techs since the begining of the year and they keep telling me it has something to do with security, but something should/may be coming...

Anyone heard anything? I really like the VZ Navigator option on my current phone, Krzr, and at this point not really willing to give it up....

Anyone have pictures of any information on the HTC Touch?
