Shop Talk
Wow .. he really got away with that?
Apparently some random customer has been coming into the store for a past couple days, plugging his phone into the a charger intended for a cooresponding demo unit, and then LEAVING the store for an hour or two. Previously we had been unable to catch him on the way in or out, so one of the sales reps took his phone off the charger and hid it in the manager's office. When the guy came back asking if anyone had seen his phone, the biggest, scariest manager in the store took it out to him and started to explain the legal ramifications of his actions. Two words into his speech, the guy turned tail and ran from the store.
BUY A CHARGER, DUMB@SS
I did not make those phone calls.......
Customer: I did not make all these phone calls and I am NOT going to pay for them!!!
*I am looking at the bill and the numbers that were charged were the same numbers that were made all month long*
Me: ok, do you know this number 555-555-5555?
Customer: umm no...
Me: Ok well this number was dialed numerous times during the month and you were not charged for this call.
Customer: Oh yea that is Billy Bob, yea I made those calls
*ok here is the good part*
Me: ok, well the charges are from you calling Billy Bob and you had gone over you min at that point. So you have told me you know th...

so do you insurance reps make commission off of the amount of claims you deny in a day...is there a quota???
I mean, I realize that if you are on the phone and you hear them crack their phone, then there is clearly a fraud issue, but these people pay $6-$10 each month to replace a phone that is usually refurbished anyways and only costs the insurance company $100; then you charge a deductable on top of that. Its a total rip off, and I personally don't know why consumers buy into it all t ...

T-Mobile is here and they are monitoring us live. Everyone is going nuts. Supervisors are running around crazy......The ops manager is walking back and forth between parts of the call center trying to relay any updates......The CSRs are trying so hard not to mess up that they are forgetting basic things and getting dinged.............
so........what's different about this than any other day???? T-Mo has access to our witnessing program to watch us file claims remotely. They actually announced 2 days ago that they will be doing daily monitors. The only difference........these guys are here.....and they're wearing ties.

When she said that she "couldn't" live without her phone, I replied with, "Sure you can, people have survived without cel ...

she claims that she called cingy 3 months before her enhanced warranty went out of service (which it never can if you're under contract) and dealt with customer service, instead of claims... well, she goes to styate cingy called her back 1 day after her warranty expired, and it was all our fault, and she wasn't going to let motorola warranty the phone, because she was required to send it in and get a loaner.
well, i decide...

Had a customer approach me a few weeks ago, he had the crazy look in his eye and he started sweating when he got near. I am used to being stared at and gocked at. (I was a performer in The Rocky Horror Picture Show running around in front of hundreds of people with just a thong on.... TMI) Anyway he stared at me a little while as I stared back smiling like the caged monkey I am. Finally he blurts out none too...

Just a fair warning
Last night I put in for 3 hours of pto. I get a call from a gentleman at 6:30pm, a half an hour before I am to leave. He had ported 4 numbers over from vzw into his existing account and was calling to activate the phones. To make a long story short, the agent promised him a price plan of 4000 mins for $180 total for all lines, plus free roadside assistance for 1 full year! Our 4000 min plan starts at $200 for just 2 lines, roadside is only free for 30 days. So he's upset but agrees to take the 4000 min plan at the regular rate. His existing phone number was supposed to have stayed on its same dinosa...
