right now, my coworker is helping a couple with two brats in tow.

we have a fusic on display with bose headsets to show off the music store, and stools to use while at the interactive center. the father puts the stool in front of the fusic and let's his 4 year old son play with the phone while standing on the stool.

ok, as long as you stand right there watching him... but no.

him and his wife are bitching about upgrades and why their bill is high, and that they're going to cancel... etc.

that kid is going to fall off the stool, bringing the $150 headphones with him and hit his head, and of course they'll blame it on us.

our company had a conference call this week about how "the mall is dead" is not a legitimate excuse not to make a lot of sales... but mathematically if there are less people in the mall that means there's less of chance they are here to buy something from me... if there is less traffic there will be less people walking by to see our bluetooths/cases/chargers... "The mall is dead" is the reason that i don't have any sales today... it looks like tuesday morning in here... I've only talked to 3 people today and only 1 of those was over 18... when they ask me why i did so poorly tonight i'll have to come up with something better than "the mall is dead"... how about, "there was a terrorist attack at the mall," or "Cinuglar/ATT came up here and s...

They are putting in a Claire's in the empty store right across from my kiosk. Not only do I get to listen to sawing, drilling, and now what sounds like jackhammering during my entire shift, but everything in our kiosk is covered in an inch of dust. Oh, and the construction people have been smoking like chimneys in there, which I just reported to mall management...who didn't seem terribly concerned. I'm in the seventh circle of hell.

I've been here for 21 minutes and I am bored.

I can kind of laugh now at a couple of the facts now that it is a couple of weeks after the fact...not to laugh at a terrifying situation or make it sound like I am laughing about it happening because I am not at all, but this is a true "dumb criminal" story.

The two things that make this a WTF!? situation is that the guy who robbed us was on a bicycle(woohoo! what a getaway vehicle) The other thing is that he was in the week before with a "friend" that purchased a prepaid phone for him and gave the suspects address. And last but not least, he asked my assistant if we worked alone on Saturdays and after she said yes, he shook his head and said "you shouldn't be here alone, you will get robbed one of these days" How freaking stupid does o...

I love when I tell a customer, "Okay, I will just need to run a credit check to see if you have a deposit" and the customer says, "Oh, I don't". Really? Because I don't think either of us can be sure of that until I enter your information in the computer. Do they just not understand what a deposit means? Because I get this all the time, usually from people who *surprise* are required to pay a deposit.

is really a bad thing but i know everyone has done it in one form of another. especially when credit is involed. Im not talkin about race or anything like that because i dont judge...but if someone comes in with a dirty backpack and smells like cheese and sulfur, i am going to be less optimistic running their credit than a guy in a suit and tie and smells like DIOR . dont get me wrong because i know good and well that the suit man could be the bad credit one while the others is spotless...im jus sayin...

I had one guy the other day come in and try to return some bluetooth he bought in july (and has opened or used). I looked at his receipt and showed him the date, and the fine print were it says 15 days.. He got really mad and said thats bullcrap, I havent used it or opened it, I have 2 blackberrys through you guys, and now your trying to screw me"

After explaining the return policy again, he demanded to talk to the manager, the store manager told him the same thing, then the cust demanded the phone # of the district manager which my store manager refused to give him. The guy left all mad and swearing lol idiots!

right now my co-worker is getting a line canceled that a customer didn't want this is the second time this week. both said someone called them and they had no idea what was going on untill they recived the phone through the mail. this is a bunch of crap. effin scavengers

..... customers cut me off and assume that they know what to do. If they do know what to do, then why the HELL are they calling me?!

Usually, the bill for USCC in this area comes in around the 15th. This month, because of the ice storm, the bills are a little late. How do I know this? 15, count 'em, 15 parents called in within a one hour time frame adding TXT packages to their kids plans.

Two days ago I had a customer come in and demand a free phone. Fair enough, I can do that. I put our very last free one on hold for her. Between then and today I could have sold it to six other people with cash but I felt sorry for this woman. Anyway, she comes in today and says oh you can put it back. I don't need it anymore. Kind of confused I ask why, she says that she has just got a phone at radio shack for free. I said well our phone was free, oh but of I had to do that rebate thing with yours. Knowing how radio shack operates I asked what phone she got. And she pulls out a Mot V551. I explained my best that this phone was discontinued and that's why its free. It's over two years old, come on. She says that they gave it to her and walke...

As a friend of SMORRIS, I can tell you a few things in response to the "Good News..." bulletin.

One of you said that Shane (we call him "The Curse") is always ****y because he had never gotten his "a$$ kicked". Which is almost true. I've seen Shane engage in multiple drunken fistfights (no surprise there) and he has never lost. Shane was Golden Gloves in California - and he'll likely be shot in the face before he gets his a$$ kicked.

He is not racist. Most of his friends are black. Most white people around here don't like him. He pissed them all off.

In fact, he loves to piss everyone off. Any woman who has been a part of his life for more than 24 hours can tell you that.
