Oh, his poor kids.

Had a learning experience today.

"I want to be able to track my kid wherever he drives, and also to be able to hear whatever is going on inside the car."

So at first, I set him up with a Sanyo 2400, mainly because it was cheap and had a decent speakerphone. However, the speakerphone wasn't powerful enough for him; he wanted more clarity, possibly with a bluetooth headset.

He came back the next day, and I swapped him out for an A640 with a Motorola T305 car kit. He wanted me to set it all up, so left it with me and told me he'd be back in the morning.

Next morning, with the T305 charged, I paired them up, and discovered a problem: I could silence the A640 and put it on auto-answer, but the T305 itself would ring, giving it away. A...

good luck everyone

yesterday i officially put in my two weeks notice after 3 years of doing wireless and about 7 years of customer service(doesnt seem like much but im only 23 so thats my whole working career) i am done with this stuff. i am going to install custom floor coverings and cabinets in garages making 5 bucks more an hour than i make now. it has been fun good luck and many sales to all of you

ppl that want stuff for nothing. I had a cus come in today that had a contract through wirefly....

enough said right there that something was going to be messed up....

c-i need a new phone

me-ok..well let me take a look at it

c-it was just laying on my bedside table and when i woke up this morning it had a huge crack in the lcd screen inside as well as a dent in the side of my phone

( i looked at his account and he had no insurance )

me-well sir it looks like you dont have insurance but instead of having to come out and pay for another phone retail price you could purchase a used phone.

c-how much would a phone brand new like mine be?

c-im going to verizon...im cancelling my contract and going to verizon...

Sprint Glitch?

When you go on to the Sprint.com website and get the the "All Sprint PCS Phones" list there is one phone towards the bottom of the list that says "Sprint power Vision Phone Upstage by Samsung" that has no details or pic. What is up with that?

Do you think I'm actually a switchboard operator?

I seriously do not understand why people think that we can just transfer them to anything they want. I actually had a woman ask me if she could get transfered to the Cingular sales department... and got mad when I said that a transfer to the CINGULAR sales dept was not something I could help her with.

I've also had people calling in just to ask us to look things up for them (Can you tell me the number for the US Embassy... that was fun, he didn't speak English, only French... and ended up asking me to move to Canada to marry him...)

Really, it's important!

Do people think we give them an order number because we like to hear ourselves talk? Seriously, it's actually a kind of important number, you should write it down and then keep track of that piece of paper until you get your package...

Because if you don't and then call in and say "Yeah, I placed an order" it takes the better part of eternity for me to search by your name, especially when you have an accent so thick I need a shovel to dig through it... and considering you're illiterate (C for Crack-Baby, not C for kitten you twit) spelling it phonetically isn't going to work either.

I can't search by the date and the fact that you think the guy who placed it was named 'Carl' and you used your credit card... none of that is helpful.

Pizza hut

So, i work at an indirect dealer and i do not sell verizon. Have you seen the new Pizza Hut commercial where you get a free chocolate phone from verizon if you order a pizza?? Well guess what, i had a gentleman come in demanding his free chocolate phone, he even brought me the pizza hut reciept. At this point, it was very hard for me not to laugh in his face considering the closest Verizon store is 2 hrs away. I asked if he had called the # on the coupon and he said "yea, they asked me for a credit card # and said i could just come to you guys if i didnt want to give it" SORRY SIR!! We dont even have that phone in this store. Our service doesnt even SELL that phone. IDIOT!!!

Cingular has 27,000 more towers than verizon...how does verizon think they have a "more reliable" network??

Customer: Yeah...got me a email said I can get a free trac fone. can I pick it out here?

Me: My company hasn't sent you an email to get a free trac fone. We don't sell trac fone. We are a Verizon Wirless dealer. Our prepay phones start at $XX.XX.

Customer: Then why my email say I can get it free?

Me: I don't know. Perhaps trac fone is giving something away right now. I don't sell trac fone. I don't know. I can sell you a VZW phone for $XX.XX, but I won't be providing you a free trac fone today.

what the heck

I work in an agent store for cingular. i am getting mad bc we keep losing custies to the store across town because they call customer service when they are not eligible for upgrade and since customer service can not take contracts off of an account...they put it in the account notes and the only ppl that can over ride it are managers at the corporate stores! we keep losing money due to the fact that corporate stores can do whatever they want! i wish cus service would find another way to do this to where we wouldnt have to send our customers to a store all the way across town! 🤭 🤭

I just had

a complaint filed against me. Someone called the store and I explained to him nine times that there is no family talk pick your plan. He was confused when I said you can activate two phones and have them withdrawn from the same bank account. But no, you cannot put two phones on the $29.99 plan. He demanded my manger, who is not in. He demanded someone else, in which there honestly was no one else available. So he called customer service and filed a complaint. Stupid mother ****er.

The funniest thing I've heard in 4 days

My staff and I LOVE it when people refer to their SIM card as a Sims card. It's just one of those mispronunciations that we can't get enough of...

So, first thing this morning, before I even turned the lights on, a guy and his daughter come up to my kiosk. The daughter's phone is broken. Somehow the charging port fell out of the bottom of the phone. She's not eligible for an upgrade yet, so I told him he could purchase a phone at full price to replace it.

His response - "So I can just take the stem cell out of her phone and put it in the new one right?"

Then his daughter corrects him - "Daddy, it's a Sims card, not a stem cell!" and acts like she's not half as ignorant as him.
