One of my sprint cs calls

I remember this happened like 4 or 5 months ago, a women call and i was i don't remember what i was doing in the line i think was a data charges issue, thats the most common, but the important thing is that she suddenly ask me some minutes cause someone was knocking at door, then i heard the steps and then a sound, it was like when you have sex on the bed you know that noise of the bed and the wall , well that was the sound, then it stops, i heard again the steps and the door when it gets closed, so then she take the phone again and she was with a voice how can i said this, ( like if she go running for 10 km and was extremely tired, that was her tone of voice) and i was like , "omg" did she just finish having sex in my call ? i was shocked l...

9 hours left!!

10 hour days by yourself really suck, so bored, so tired, and the power keeps going off and on. What do you guys do to pass the time when you are working by yourself and haven't seen a customer yet? ☚ī¸

At&t nationwide system update (AKA: Crash)

Why does Cingy always do updates on sundays.

Right now NO ONE for cingular can

Change a sim
rate plan
upgrade
activation
or anything else without a 20 min hold time for after hours

They need to think things through.

I'm so sick of...

... customers that come in with accessories that are really old and expect a refund or an exchange.

ie. A woman came in crying and holding a bluetooth headset. She said that it was purchased 3-4 months ago and it had broken. She said that it was her husband's and he was a truck driver and needed it. She was in tears and begging for a replacement.

(I went through my "30-days" speech.)

ie. A guy came in with a charger he had bought a year ago. He said that it had a five year warranty and that he wanted a new one. I told him that since it was a year ago, he'd have to take it up with the manufacturer.

- Which he responded with throwing the charger across the room and into the trash can before he stomped out the door.

You can keep calling and we're going to keep tell you the SAME THING!

This customer has called at least three times today.

Yesterday they called (couldn't tell if it was a guy or a chick) and somebody told them we had the stereo headset for $14.99. We don't. The one that is $14.99 is a mono headset HOWEVER if they had placed the order at that time, with the agent who goofed, and received a mono headset then called back in we would have pulled the call and verified that the rep did promise a stereo set for that price and sent them the stereo set for $15...

They didn't place the order then, they want it at that price now. The STEREO set is $35, about twenty bucks more than the one ear set (I don't know why, I don't care, we've been over the whole thing were they don't actually ask my opinion before sett...

Just had my FIRST ONE!

Ok, I'm ever so excited about this sale.

Just had a customer come in. The first words out of his mouth are "Now, don't laugh"

So I have a feeling this is gonna be a good one. I had no idea how good it was going to be. He pulls an iPhone out of his pocket.

"Now, I was one of the group that jumped ship from verizon and got an iPhone..."

I knew it would happen. I knew that I would have at least one of these. He went on about how EDGE wasn't fast enough, how he doesn't have service.. this that and the other thing.

This guy was prepared to pay two ETFs, one from verizon he already paid, and one from ATT to port his number back to verizon. I got to play around with the iPhone as a side effect.

My impressions, it's one of the...

Why do customers

come to you and ask you a question and then tell you that you are wrong? If they knew the answer then what did they ask you the question. Am I stuck and a game of trivial pursuit?

can someone help

I am a verizon indirect rep, I keep having customers come in and say that corporate customer care says that they can update family share add-on lines at 20 months instead of 22 months. I call in to ask customer care and they say that they have not heard of this unless its for a primiary and then its 12 months. I am framiliar with the 12 month program, but is there a 20 month program or are customers just fishing?

Is she serious?

Yes she is... This little girl is on my last nerve. I talk to her probably 3 times a day, more so on Saturdays and Sundays.

This little b!tch calls in sounding like shes crying asking to be transferred to her father. She never verifies any account information, nor do any of the CSRs look into the notes to see that she has hundreds of thousands of the exact same note: "Custs daughter called in crying requesting to be transferred to her fathers phone. Adv this was a one time courtesy and completed transfer."

Its insane that she does this and we have no clue why. I've just gotten to the point where I tell her we are not an operator service, nor do we perform transfers to outside numbers and sit there. If this is an emergency, plea...

Please Your stupid questions

As the day goes on, feel free to leave your stupid questions, so your actual peers can help you with the answer. Here is one to get everyone started:

I read this article about how people was using their iPod outside during a storm and got struck by lightning. Will this happen to me with my iPhone?

Why do you have to be such an A-Hole? {RANT}

Just had a guy in store who wanted to see if we could beat what he's currently getting at Cingular. When I asked him what he had, he wouldn't tell me. Wouldn't tell me minutes, features, price, NOTHING! When I asked what features he was interested, he said "I'm not supposed to be the one talking here, you're the sales rep" WHAT A JERK!! How can I set you up with what you need, give pricing based on your needs, if you won't tell me your needs. We're always preached at in this industry to "not judge" So...I don't. But everything I offered this guy he just looked at me and said NO... NO... NO.... WELL...I can list features and services all freaking day long, what are you interested in??????

Then of course "You'll give me a car charge...

Tell me if this makes sense.

Had a customer come in and ask for the iPhone. He was going to port his number from T-Mo.

After I explained to him that we don't actually carry the iPhone at this location (we're an agent), he then said he wanted a free phone, and no features. I showed him the prices of our lower end phones (none free), and he kept saying he wanted one for free.

???? 😕

You honestly think I'm going to lower the prices of my phones after you just said you wanted to spend $600 on one? You must be high!

He ended up saying he had his own phone (even better), but he wanted it set up now, and our billing system is down. So I get nothing.

*headdesk*

This Friday the 13th is going GREAT already.

Guy bought a phone through us with Alltel a week and a half ago, he got the 59.99 plan. He came in this morning with his first bill in hand.

C:"This bill was over 100 dollars. Why?"
Me:"Let me take a look here... well, your plan is $59.99 monthly, so that's $60... pro-rated charges were $6, that's a charge for the time between your activation and your f-"
C:"Pro-rated charge? What's that?"
Me:"As I was saying, it's a partial charge for the time between your activation and your first bill. That only comes on your first bill, so-"
C:"What about this $25 charge here, huh? Activation fee, what's that?"
Me:"Well, you were told when you bought your phone service with us that you would be ...
