So the other day I was watching a documentary about prison life in San Quentin here in California. Apparently alot of inmates have cell phones even though they are not allowed. Apparently the way they get them in is they have a relative visit them. When the guards are not looking the family member slip them the phone and the inmate puts the phone up there butt to sneak it back into the prison. Then I got to thinking if the phone gets liquid damage. I didn't think much about it until today when this trashy lady came in and had a prepaid phone with liquid damage. I told her that its not covered. Then I thought about the show and needless to say I didn't want to touch the phone.

I think the only thing worse than emo kids are the ones that wander the mall thinking they are "gangsta" playing (c)rap on their effing phones. Bah! 👿

I've been doing cellular for 10 damn years now. just an FYI, back them you had to purchase a phone at full price or get one installed to your car....
Now when my bitchey customers complain about a $149 phone on a contract i simply put it in LAMENS terms for them...

Ok, the phone is only $149.99 which is only 20 cents a day for the contract......

I work in a low volumn corporate store and all I seem to do anymore is take bill payments, and listen to people complain about their bill or the coverage in our area (lack thereof more like) and how they are so pissed that we dont do S&R. It just drives me insane looking at the same 4 walls day in and day out. Luckily I can download South Park eps to my BBerry or I'd really lose it.

While working by myself one night, I was showing a customer a phone demo, and broke away to take a bill payment... well, while I was taking the payment, the guy with the demo ran off... I called security, police, etc... but figured it was a lost cause... the next day this idiot comes in to pay his bill.. gives me his name, address and everything... retard..... needless to say his account was charged the amount of our demo. Do you NOT think he would RECOGNIZE ME??? lol

Why do people think accessories like cases and car chargers should come FREE with phones? I know that some stores and carriers run specials or bundles, but the only time I've seen accessories come FREE with a phone is on high end PDA and smart phones. Most Blackberries, HTC and Palm devices come with a clip or case, but I have NEVER seen a phone come with a car charger.

I hate when customers ask that. Of course we have a bathroom and no, you can't use it because of stupid customers that mess it up and ruin it for others.

The other day I had some guy hoot and holler about how it's bad business not to have a public restroom and that he couldn't even get back in his car. Of course when I didn't fold, he got in his car, went to the McDonalds across the street, and then came back ten minutes later.

i just got in my new machine used to have the ume 24. Anybody know about the machine? I thought it transfers ringtones but it didnt give me the option when i tried it out.

My company's starting to use a service to foward incoming faxes to a supervisor's VZW Q. The file comes in as a .tif file, which the Q says it can't read. Is there any way to convert these files, or to make the Q capable of reading them?

We all talk about customers all day, but I feel some of the care/warranty/insurance reps are just as stupid if not more so than my customers.

Had a really bad one yesterday who did not know how to add an account note to a customers account. Isn't that like 60% of their job description? She also didn't know what phone model we were talking about. What an external lcd was, or how to read an account not back to the customer. When I told her the phone model was a nokia 6555 she said so its a nokia 5135? We had to tell her 7 times that it wasn't that phone.
