phone scoop forums on my VZW 8130

i'm not able ot get into the forums when i go to phonescoop.com on my blackberry. is there an alternate URL i can type to just get the forums. i prefer these forums, too many retards on other sites. i take escalation calls for VZW, and you guys really understand my frustration when it comes to customers.

so the new ATT/Cell One deal is complete

and what was a mall that had an ATT agent store, Radio Shack, a CEllOne kiosk, and a Cell One corporate store, now has FOUR ATT LOCATIONS!!! plus elsewhere throughout town, six other locations that sold Cell One now sell ATT!!!

we ar goingn to rename this city DeathStar Heights!!!!!

What will you do...

on your last day?

i have been keeping a log of all the a-holes that yell at me when i am trying to help them. On my last day i will cancel their accounts, flag them as fraud, and note the account to not reactivate under any circumstances. (only to the really really really really big a-holes though, i am not that mean to do it to every frustrated custy)

anyone have their own ideas?

Highest text usage you've ever seen?

I just saw a teenage girl come in the other day who had used over 27,000 text messages last month, combined with almost 3100 minutes as well. I'm trying to find out the logistics of how this could even work, especially because her phone doesn't even have a QWERTY keypad.

I'm sure you guys have seen more though, so share your records!

was i wrong for not changing the upgrade date?

i had an indirect store rep calling in. the customers phone was broken, not eligible for an upgrade til april so the only thing we offer them is 1 yr pricing. now thats only available at a direct store or cs, plus the rep had already been denied from coos for that upgrade. if i changed the date they wld be eligible for 2 year pricing, the customer had barely been with us 2 years, what would anyone else have done?

C-Yea I need that number to the Sprint store out by walmart

M-I'm sorry I don't have their number as they are a third party dealer and I know they have an unlisted number. Is there anything I can asisst you with?

C-I got my phone from there and its a piece of s**t, they ripped me off. This f**ckin pice of crap doesn't work

M-Well I apologize for that, what seems to be the problem.

C-It turns on and off by itself and the battery don't last and it cuts out!

M-How long have you had the phone?

C-I got it last week

M-Well what you can do is take it back to that store and have them verify the problem and...

Merry Christmas to everyone I've called...

in the few hours that we have been open so far today it was dead with the exception of one hour that was so packed with people that i couldn't get through people to grab phones from the back. on the plus side-7 new acts, but i had an issue with one woman that took an hour. i came in today with 1,500 random epoints so i decided that since its Christmas and RMS is a piece of total poo, every person that i call for sales support will get epoints. I've done it twice so far, so Merry Christmas guys... I know that call centers aren't necessarily the best places to be, but you make my job a whole hill of a lot easier!

a suggestion to all reps- when you call into sales support- take 5 seconds to ask for their supervisor and recognize a job well...

So I'm here before all the mall walkers. I'm staring at a ghost town of a mall. My eyes are bloodshot, and I still need to get some shopping done. Oh yeah, and it's raining, not snowing. I can only take comfort in knowing that this is the last day of hellish hours for the season. I am totally looking forward to sleeping in on Christmas Day.






How are you all holding up?

Just another day in paradise.

Hello all my fellow Phone Scoopers. Merry Christmas and Happy Hollidays.

Soooo its my weekend off. Yet I am working two shifts a 7 hour one yesterday and an 8 hour one today. Both by myself which means no lunch breaks. This sucks. I could deal with it if I had someone to talk to but this mall will be dead. O well. I guess I will just Forum surf for most of the day.

New Holiday rule.

So my new holiday rule is I don't have to acknowledge anyone who looks or acts dumb. If I think someone is stupid than I'm just going to pretend I don't see them until next year...... who's with me. ๐Ÿ˜

I AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF...

Customer's who think they own the world! Like i should just bow down and kiss their feet! This lady comes up to the counter and slams her phone on the glass. She proceeded to tell me this:

M-Me
C- Customer

M- Hi, how can I help you?
C- Yea, this phone is a peice of Sh!t. I need another one. *Demanding*

M- Ok, well...what's your phone number?

She gives me the number and I look up her account thinking maybe she had the insurance. When I took a look at the phone, it was snapped in two. Of course, no insurance. And she was not eligable for any discounts because she just used one to get the broken phone. Her next discount is in June sometime, because she decided not to pay her bill on time either.

I advised her of all of...
