T-Mo Customer Care (Attention!!!)

I work for a corporate store and I'm tired of our Customer Care!! I'm tired of you guys sending customers into the retail store and promising the sun and moon. I had two customers last night come in that had talked to customer care. They were upgrading their phones and were still under contract. They were promised free razrs!! We don't discount phones for you!! We have our own inventory we are responsible for. You have no right to discount our inventory!! If you want to discount phones then take out of your own inventory and send it to the customer. You don't know what we are allowed to discount or how much or when we are allowed. You are doing the customer a dis-service!!! Remember you are good at what you do, I'll give you that, ...

Sony Ericsson K850a Coming To AT&T!

I just got promotional posters and a dummy phone for the K850a. It looks to be an incredible phone. It is the first phone offered by a US carrier to have a 5 megapixel camera. It has 3G, a dual memory card slot that supports both MicroSD and Sony's M2 memory stick which is makes it very compatible. It also has a very unique keypad where the 2 and 5 keys are inside the D-pad. I can't wait to get it in stock so I can play with it.

A day of upgrades and pre-pays.

A day of broken phones new and old.

A day where an activation or two is needed most.

Job with ATT

I am thinking about being a customer service rep for att wireless call center can anyone tell me if they have any good employee benefits a far a phones and service. Not that it matters but just want to know some of the perks besides working with wonderful customers. ๐Ÿ™„

I hate people

ok so this guy comes into the store and is like i have an account with you and i have just opened a business so give me a good deal on my credit being ran.
why dont people understand that we have nothing to do with their credit coming back good or bad. its all on them.
SOOO anyways the guy says if it comes back with a deposit he is going to his business else where. (rudeness) so i call NBI to do a credit check. comes back with a $300 deposit. i almost wanted to laugh at him. i explained the deposit would be returned after one year but he didnt seem to like that. ๐Ÿ™„

Male customer- I don't have a credit card for the insurance thing

Um, if you use it for business you should have a checking account, debit card, credit card, something...

We went on to suggest a prepaid card that the gas stations sell.

Customer turns to his girlfriend and says, "oh, great, you can bail me out of jail with that!"

I need Help !!!

Ok Does anyone that works for alltel know how i can get out of my contract ? i live in an area that doesnt get service ,,, the phones are junk and i hate the customer service that i get in my local store

I need help from Sprint CS reps PLEASE (it is long)

My boyfriend has sprint. They decieded to renew the contract. I made the sales rep write down everything that is suppose to be on the account afterwards because his dad wanted it for his records. He got a powervision phone, so they took off the unlimited text and internet. I have it sign by the sales rep that it is to remain on the account.
So, we get the first bill for $500. His dad call them up, and he gets rude so we made him hang up and I called. They tried to make us pay it, and I said I have the paperwork sign by the sales rep tell me that it was on the account. So they take back the charges and tell me that they are sorry and they will put it on the account.
So, we get the second bill for $700. STILL NO UNLIMITED TEXT AND INTERNET....

Just a heads up...

On the NBC Today show this morning, they did a story about the Consumer's Report article on cell phone service providers...

Noting at all nice to say about Sprint, said at&t is just above Sprint...tops was VZW followed by "smaller" Alltel the TMO...

So y'all may hear about it some more today.

Like I said, just a heads up.

REALLY NICE!! but my god! these people get stupider by the day.. this lady i am currently talkign to is soudning like she has been smopking alot of something lol uhh ignorance Anyone else having a FREAKIN TERRIFFIC DAY?!

Another pet peeve from the neverending list...

I seem to have gotten nothing but this today.

We have a lot of systems in place to protect people from identity theft. They don't always work but they work a lot of the time.

Pretty much any time that a credit card is charged the system will automatically put the order into the validation process. Most of the time it can be done without actually speaking to the customer, sometimes it cannot.

People get so pissy about the process, it just blows my mind.

I have had three times today where I try and explain the process and they begin screaming (or tying in caps) about how they have had service for 25 years and why do they have to put up with this and this is such a waste of time... And I am trying to explain that it is just for th...

I really cant stand it when people come into the store and complain about the prices. so they go somewhere else....then get crappy service...then come back to you and want you to fix it!!! bs!!!! bs!!

Iphone question here!!!! lol

hey i have a customer who has an iphone:

so he has his old phone and wants the contacs to transfer to the i phone ...... i took the sim out of the iphone and place it on his old phone and copy all contacts to sim ... then i out it back in the iphone .... now does anyone know where i would find the sim contacs? .... and how i would load it up?


for example on a blackberry you would go to menu> sim phone book> copy all to contact list to adress book....

Another week goes by in the battle between Retail & Customer Care...

Now that Sunday is over with, here are the problems I've had with Customer Care over this week:


1. A customer upgraded over the internet earlier this month, didn't like the phone, called CARE, and care sent them the phone that they wanted instead. That's 1 exchange. Then, the customer didn't even want THAT one anymore, so CARE sent them another different one. That's TWO now. Guess what? Customer called CARE again, wanting to exchange again. This time, CARE sent customer to my store (an hour away from the customer's home) and told them to bring the phone to us and exchange it. They also remarked that we have to honor the internet pricing AND do an instant rebate.

~My problem with this: It was CARE's decision to break policy and allow ...

I need more minutes...

Custy: Hi, I'm thinking about upgrading my plan so that I have more minutes. I've been going over them alot and ending up with $300 bills.

Kelli: *pulls out the plan sheet* Well, you're plan right now is 450 mins for 39.99. The next one up is 900 mins for $59.99

Custy: WHAT? There's no way in HELL I'm paying that much a month!
