Ok, sweety, what I need you to do is....

Take your computer, turn it off... unplug it and pack it all back up in the box. Now take that box back to the store you bought the computer from and explain that you are receiving a PEBKAC/ID-10-T Error.

Seriously, you're on "Letstalk.com" not T-Mobile.com I know it says T-Mobile on the site but I will guarantee that you aren't on T-mobile.com... how you may ask can I be so certain, we don't carry the headset you're saying is listed on that site. att care reps? asurion reps?

How do you view XBM?

Are they generally nice and knowledgeable?

Do they know what they're talking about?

I do warranty, have been for over 2 years.
I think we do a great job. I know there are some bad apples in every bunch, and they quickly terminate themselves.

What is the consensus?

Customer story

Had a customer last night who said she never broke her phone (which is why our store wouldn't warrenty it). When she found out we weren't going to warrenty it, she got mad and threw her phone to the concrete floor. Of course, the phone shattered into a hundred little peices. She points at it, and exclaims "I will take blame for that. But I am not going to take blame for something I did not do. You people are a rip!" Meanwhile, she managed to get the attention of about 20 other people in the store at the same time. When my manager came out to tell her to leave the store, she taunted him. Yep. Taunted him. He threatened to call the police, and she still wouldn't budge. She said "I dare you to put your hands on me, and escort me out ...

Things that annoy you at work?

I hate it when your explaining to a customer that the higher than average bill is due to overage and they think that "but I dont even use it that much" is a valid argument. How do you argue with that? sometimes I just want to say "well sir, I'm sorry that you dont seem to have a firm grasp on the concept of time, but you do use it that much."

Nope.

A customer just came in and asked me for a phone directory. So I put ours on the counter like knock yourself out. She picked it up thanked me and walked out the door. 😳 I was so stunned I just said "You're welcome".

WTF? You think because I sell phones I just hand out phone books? Unreal.

Lost and Confused....

Ok so I know I should have probably ask this question in the accessories forum but I'm comfortable here 😁

So I really need a bluetooth. I used to have the Plantronics Voyager but I recently lost it. I don't particularly care for any of the Motorola ones that are out. I'm have nothing but bad luck with them. But I'm at a loss as to where to look from here. I want something is hooks over the ear and doesn't just rely of the rubber to just stay in your ear. I'm always on the go with work and I need something thats going to stay in place and not more around a lot. Somebody please help and push me in the right direction. THANKS

Security Deposit with T-Mobile

Does anyone know how the security deposits are with T-Mobile? Are they as strict as VZW or are they a little more lienant like sprint? What is the highest anyone has seen for deposit TMO? My contract is up with sprint in Feb. I am looking at going with TMO but I want to get a heads up ans see if its worth putting an inquiry on my credit report. WIth sprint I didnt need a deposit for my 1st line the second line I needed 125.00. Can anyone give me an idea Thanks

Sometimes I just feel like a parent...

I am sure everyone at one point with customers feels as if they are speaking to a child, but does anyone have anything that sticks out where they had to be extra repeatative or anything like that?

It just feels like I am sometimes saying, "Well Timmy son, we turned off your phone because you didn't pay your bill. Once you pay your bill you will get your phone service back!" And this is in replacement of "Well Timmy son, we took away TV because you didn't clean your room. You can watch your cartoons again once your room is clean."

Customers just think they should be spoiled because they are the customer. "But I was told I would get this so I want it NOW!! IF I DON'T GET IT I WILL SCREAM AND CRY!" aka "I AM GOING TO RUN AWAY MOM IF I ...

So i just had a 20 something guy come into the store to return his new blackberry 8310. His reason for return is because his crotch started feeling warmer when his blackberry was near it and he believed it was making him sterile......Just by looking at him i hope it had.

hey all I'm a newbie 😁 sorta, I've read alot just haven't posted much. I work in sales support fpr sprint so i pretty much know what I'm doin with it comes to phone service and stuff. So any questions or what ever if i can I'll answer em or point ya in the right direction!

2008 Just not going so well for me yet.... (long)

So up until July of last year, I had the same 2 employees with me that I have had since we opened this location in 2005. One left, she got a much more "stable" better paying job for a bigger company. The other, got married and moved to Texas in November. After FINALLY getting a stack of applications of any sort of value I was able to do some interviews and get someone hired on and trained by the holiday rush.

She was doing farely well, just slow in some areas, but was slowly but surely coming around. Until... BAM! Mid december... They cancel our company party scheduled for January. Then the following week.. BAM... company cut backs, all part-timers are gettin laid off. Then, we're closed on Mondays so I can work all by myself Tues...
