I just moved. I'm trying to access the site with Firefox on a MacBook. It's running Leopard. When I try to get to www.phonescoop.com, the browser never reaches it. I let it sit for about ten minutes, and I never got a response from phonescoop.com. It said "waiting for phonescoop" or whatever, but it never connects.

I'm currently using http://www1.phonescoop.com which works like a champ.

Thought you might want to know. I don't know what would cause an issue like that.

Would you guys consider allowing users to create their own "private" forums that we, as users, can use to share info and keep trolls out? Perhaps each room can have their own moderator (just for that room) to kick out obnoxious users?

It may help you cut down on banning user as a private room can have more relaxed rules......

I am not sure if this has been discussed before or not or if it is even possible, but I was wondering if it would be possible to give the creator of a thread the ability to close it once they feel it has run its course, or that they have sufficient answers to their posted query or statement. Just a thought.

Is there any service or way to get a list of all the currently serviced phones that support MP3 as real-tone ringers without having to check each phone individually?

I need a list of all current phones, including the carrier, manufacturer, phone model and whether OR not they support MP3 real-tone ringers?

Dad has hearing aide. He says talking with me on my cell phone is painful. Any way to change transmission volume? Held phone an arms length away from mouth with no positive difference for him. This is an issue whether I am using Blue Tooth, speakerphone or handheld. Any ideas?

so i am looking for new furniture, namely a bedroom suite. so i was looking at furniture rows website and found one called a marsaille that i thought was beautiful and fell in love with it.
well i also noticed they had the armoire priced at $0... so i immediately called and they said no its $700. i informed them it is advertised at $0 or lower and thats false advertising and i have a print out of it saying its $0, and they wont match it or even,lower the price and now they have it fixed on the website, but isnt that illegal? i mean i have the print out and everything...

At the CES convention, did you guys see anything about the Google OS that's supposed to be released this year? I haven't seen any information about it since it was announced.

is is just me or is this a whole phonescoop thing? when i look at a post it doesnt change to "light blue" anymore to show that i have looked at it. any ideas how to get this to work again?

Under the carrier forums, it would be nice to have an "other" section for those carriers that do not have enough subscribers to be their own section. (Sorry if this has already been asked).

that someone who admits to being someone who has been banned, & shows absolutely no improvement in abiding by the rules gets to stick around for a few weeks to accumulate 19 warnings before getting banned again?

You'd think you'd get tired of answering reports for people like Los, who don't even deny who they are when they register new names... or Ray who has been banned more times than I care to count.

I mean, if you want me to just continue reporting these people just for a few days of sanity at a time, I'll keep doing it...

I know I don't know much about all this stuff, but I did successfully downloaded all the MP3s I wanted (purchased a software with tons of ring tones) - so, I have different songs set that I hear when someone calls, when I receive a message, etc... however, I know some people have songs that people hear when they call them - instead of a regular ringing tone we are all used to... hope you know what I mean... PLEASE HELP! 😢
