When you recieved your N1 in the mail and put your Tmo sim card in did mms, internet, and the Android Market all work
w/o problem? I know the N1 comes unlocked.

I ask bc ? want a true UNTOUCHED Android smartphone that har 100% Google apps functionality. And NO carrier bloatware!

So when you buy a Android smartphone directly from Google.com/phone it comes with all the necessary settings?

Recently upgraded from a Nokia 5310 to 3711. Love the phone! Except... every picture message I receive it shrinks the incoming pic down to about 6k. Which on a 2.2" nice screen - looks like S**t Blown up.


I called TMobile Tech -- they had me reset, etc... didn't work. She claims its not the network. My Friend who is a sales rep said it is the network. HOWEVER, my 5310 didn't do this... I just tried it today again - receives large fine (whether sent from my email or myself or someone else)


So I'm thinking the phone is doing it. I've tried the Message Setting - Pic Size - Original (and also 1600x1200) -- neither helped.


Is there a way to fix this?!?!?! PLEASE HELP - it's maddening!

Anyone having UMA issues with their Bold 9700? 😕

Per a internet search there seems to have been some issues, which some people think were related to routers being set to 'mixed'.

But I'm just wondering if the issue was fixed or if it was just isolated to a small group?

I'm moving to an area where there isn't any Sprint service. I'll be living in a small town, but working in a slightly larger one. Where I'm working and the rest of the state has Sprint, just not where I'm living. I'm looking to switch to either T-Mobile or AT&T. TM seems to have better plans.

I have a Everything Data Family plan with Sprint and will be keeping that phone (only $10/month) but need another phone while up there for talk and text. Data would be great...but it's $20 more and I'm really looking to save money. I'm not sure how long I'll be up there, so I'm looking at the Even More Plus 500 plan with talk and text, no data.

I've been using a smart phone for years and am looking to get one of the Android phones. I unders...

After 4 years with sprint, I finally have come back to T-Mobile. This is not to taunt anybody Sprint, I really enjoyed Sprints service which is really solid in Denver Colorado.

The reason I left Sprint was the customer service at there retail locations. These are their actual stores and not 3rd party retailers.

I had to make a decision, buy the HTC hero through sprint, or head to T-Mobile and purchase the myTouch 3G+. I went in with my wife's phone to have it yet fixed again. She had the first Instinct, and it kept blacking out and shutting off. Every time I went, they were just so rude, like... Now what?

Still I kept a positive attitude. I asked the last time, can we just swap it out for a warranty replacement, you guys reinst...

So tonight at 9pm Boise ID and a few other smaller cities around it recieved 3g.. Finally! It took them forever to get the spectrum approved there..

I can't make or receive any calls. It's pretty frustrating. I'm fairly certain I'm up to date in paying my bill, so that doesn't seem like the problem. Is anybody else having this problem in the LA area? I try making a call, even to my own voicemail, and I get this:


"We're sorry. All circuits are busy now. Please try your call again later. Message CA 26255."

I'm assuming it means what it says... that the lines are tied up and they're having problems in this area. But I can't find any notification online and this has lasted all night. I'll find a way to go to the store tomorrow.

WE LOST, to verizon? Honestly they must've beat us in stats, because I just don't believe it.

Had a customer really upset about her account, really really mad at me, wants me to transfer her to verizon (implied undertones were she'll switch providers) so I try everything I can, fail, and then complete her request and listen in while 2 vzw reps transfer her back into the Q, then the third disconnected the call. 0/3 ain't bad...

Anyone know if T-Mobile will use LTE for their 4G? I heard they announced HSPDA+ but that is still considered a 3G standard correct?

Here's my situation: the last couple years, the rents have been on a family plan to allow unlimited calling between the 3 of us. However, neither of them thinks they get good service at home, and my Mom says she also doesn't get service at her office. Long story short, the reason they switched to Tmo was that it was either that or Verizon where I went to college. Anyway, that is no longer an issue, but I have been a happy Tmo customer for years, especially given that their smartphone prices are much lower than AT&T. What happens if they want to switch back to AT&T and I stay with Tmo? As in, do I just keep paying on the Tmo plan until it expires and then go with a normal contract, or does their porting their numbers away then mean that the f...
