So I am a new Sprint customer (loving the all the cool features that Verizon either locked me out of or charged out the ___ for). I got a BB Pearl that I really like, except that the screen is a little small and the jury is still out on the keyboard. I was thinking of taking it back for an 8830, but I see that the Curve will most likely hit around the 17th. Unfortunately my 30 days will be up on the 13th or 14th. Is there any way I can go ahead and return the phone in my 30 day window, be 'phoneless' a few days and then snag a Curve when released? I wouldn't mind the 8830, but it seems kind of silly to miss out on the camera, better processor, and better memory that the Curve sports. Thanks!

i am currently eligible for my 22 month replacement but am waiting to see what sprint will come out with before upgrading. anyways my phone got water damaged. i recall hearing that any esn change will reset my upgrade . so what happens when i become out of contract and want to upgrade? also does anyone know what replacement asurion is giving for the samsung a920. i also bought an extended battery from sprint about a year ago will they nt chance replace that also? any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. thanks everyone

I just got the black berry pearl, and the batt is not working, im over the 30 days but i do have the 7.00 insurance and repair. can i go to a store and will they swap the batt in the store....?? 🤨

Besides the Curve and the Prochats, will there be any high end multimedia phones coming to Sprint next couple months? High end with the camera, big detailed screens, etc.?

Does anyone have some specifics on how Qchat works?

I know it operates on EVDO Rev. A, but It would be nice to have some specifics on how it works.

From what I understand EVDO Revision A. is a slight upgrade to the EVDO Revision 0 equipment that involves more fiber lines and a software upgrade.

My question about Qchat is does it require that EVDO Rev. A specific software to function period or does it just require the Rev A. speed to connect as fast as they are advertising that it will (connections in less than 1 second)?

If a customer was in a situation where they were in an area that was EVDO Rev. 0 would the service still work just not as well (like Sprint Navigation and TV & Radio)?

Any specific information would be helpf...

anybody know how to use the mogul or any other WM phone to connect to internet with out spending all those 39 or whatever dollars ?

I have the m610 which is getting long in the tooth but all the new non-smart phones have a lower resolutions screens. Am I the only one who care? (quite possible)

My Sprint engineer came in today and said that a new IDEN BLackberry will launch at the beginning of the forth quarter. He said it'll have Wifi and a pretty sharp design. Anyone have more info about this?

😡 I am seriously thinking about changing carriers when my contract is up in Sept.. I am sick and tired of looking at the same old clunky phones Sprint has had for years. Alltel and Verizon, blow Sprint out of the water when it comes to offering their customers a better variety of phones. I have had my eye on the Venus, Voyager and now the Glimmer has appeared in Alltel's lineup. What the f#@^ is up with Sprint? Do they really think the Samsung M520(?) is putting anything to shame? Get real!!! If I'm gonna spend a ton of money on a phone I want it to be something I want, not something I was forced into getting because I didn't have anything else to choose from. Please wake up!!!!

Does anyone have a clue what the expert mode setting in Voice Mail is for? My hunch that I just used with a customer was that it keeps you from bring able to press keypad buttons before the message finishes playing. Preventing silly people from accidently deleting their VM instead of FF or rewinding.

Does anyone know if Sprint has any plans to release a Power Vision phone that has a flip out keyboard? I've been eyeing the Rumor, but I don't want to downgrade to Vision. I use the net on my phone enough to want to keep Power Vision, but not enough to warrant purchasing a PDA with a QWERTY keyboard.

I just ported over my # from Verizon today!! So far I am happy with service and the phone I bought (LG Rumor). I'll keep you posted.
