Dang it Sprint!

I have a 2 year agreement with Helio and I love the service but I would have gone with Sprint if you guys would have offered the Unlimited Everything plan in Dec 07! A lot of my friends still use Sprint. I have the All-In Unlimited Plan with Helio and I love my Ocean. They use Sprint towers anyway. I have heard some good things about Sprint lately. I know it will take a while to get the CS up to par but Ive heard from a lot of ppl that it has improved greatly already. I am really loving the new Samsung slider phone...the keys are raised and not flat like most thin slider phones. I like the Rumor but its not EVDO capable. Whats up with that? 🙄 When will the Sanyo Pro Series phones be released. Someone get me up to date with this...

Revelations from a Sprint CS Rep

Good afternoon.
The revolution is about to be publicated. Sprint's CS reputation is horrible. We all admit that. But that is all changing. Coming from corporate maybe 3 weeks ago (I cannot remember the exact date), we were told that no matter what, we have to to be accountable for Issue Resolution. Last week, the accountability became tangible. Rather than being graded on a sliding scale for our "qualtiy", its about resolving the customer issue when they call in. No more bullsnot about these are the words you have to use. If you resolve the issue, you (generally) pass. If you do not resolve the issue you ALWAYS fail. Fail enough on issue resolution, they walk you out the front door. So, rest assured, things are changing and we wi...

Sprint OpenWeb Update

Sprint OpenWeb Update

Published by Dennis March 18th, 2008 in Content Adaptation and Carriers.

I've found out a little more about the OpenWeb transcoder that US CDMA/EVDO provider Sprint is rolling out which I wrote about last week. If you missed that piece, Sprint has added a transcoder from OpenWave called OpenWeb to at least some of their WAP gateways. The stated purpose of OpenWeb is to transform full web pages that wouldn't be usable on handsets into something mobile friendly. The problem is that the OpenWeb software modifies the browser's http headers, removing some and adding others which breaks many off-portal content (ringtone, wallpaper, game) delivery services. OpenWeb also transcodes many mobile websites that don't need it...

a sad day my coworkers and i

Well, we had a store meeting this morning with the DM and he let us know that our store will be 1 of the 125 stores that is closing. I'm actually kind of bummed about the whole thing. I love the people I work with and we have fun here. I talked to a T-mobile manager today and although the pay is good... i don't wanna sell that crap. this sucks... SPRINT 4 LIFE DAWG

How does Sprint stay in business?

Ok, first of all I have had Sprint service for about 5 month's, I have not had any issues at all I have the smallest voice plan with $10 unlimited text. I have the LG music
Until I decided to call in and have my plan changed to the $99 simply everything plan, what a Freakin nightmare!! first rep says it's changed it will work in 2 hrs, I wait 4 hrs, no internet, I call back 2nd rep say's it takes 24 hrs, I'm like ok, I wait until the next day, and you guessed it no internet or tv or anything, just error messages,
To sum it up after 10 calls, to customer service and tech support and being hung up on 3 times while being transfered, I gave up called back and said change me back to what I originally had, I don't have all day to be on the...

New Sprint Commercials

Congratulations to Mr. Hesse on FINALLY bringing us Sprint commercials to be proud of. The new ads are informative, to-the-point, and draw sharp contrasts between what Sprint offers you vs the other guys. This type of advertising has been sorely lacking in recent years.

do people realize?

honestly.

do our customers realize how many major corporations use 3rd party customer service reps.

if i owned, or was higher up in a big corporation, **** yes i would outsource my customer service..... soooo much cheaper.

tired of these white trash honky ****s cussing me out cause our customer service reps speak better english than they do. their accent is thicker, but make more since than you back country inbreeders.

I contacted the website customer service but they say I may need to download opera to my phone. Has anyone ever downloaded themes from this website and can you tell me how you did it?

Need a new phone

So, I'm in the process of shopping for a new phone. I've had a PPC-6700 for almost 2 years now, and it works well other than the occasional freeze up or a screen that wouldn't wake up. It fits what I need fairly well (Good integration with Microsoft Exchange and access to windows apps).

My problem seems to be in making a decision for a new phone. The 6800 just seems like a slight upgrade to me, while the Touch seems to have problems and not sure I could get use to the lack of a qwerty keyboard.

I was just wondering what everyone's were. For corporate integration, a windows phone seems the way to go, but with the Touch's on again/off again problems (depending on who you are), and the Mogul seeming like a warmed over 6700, I'm at a l...

New Sprint Customer with a question about usage

I have been a customer for about 1 day now. I have the LG Rumor phone. I am on the Sprint website and under My Sprint, under Other Usage, for Vision Data Home, I have used 493. Now I dont have a special data or internet plan. There is no way I used that many minutes. I did dowload a ring tone but thats it besides a few seconds of going to Web and checking out the main page.

So is this for real?
