Roaming Charges - Sprint

I have just found out that Sprint has been charging me for roaming charges for Oct-April. I called Customer Support and they reimbursed me for April.

My plan specifically states no charges for roaming on the Sprint network.

Before I called customer service, I checked my MOTOKRZR K1m settings. Roaming: Set Mode: Sprint Only, Call Guard: On, Data Roam Guard: Always On.

I received no notification at all that my phone was roaming outside of Sprint network. The customer service brought up the fact that my area code for my phone number is outside of the my current area code but I don't see how this would be a problem. Many people keep their numbers.

Weird. FYI. They told me to check out my phone. Of course, my phone would be the probl...

This article talks about Verizon's rights are going to run up on this model in November. Has anyone seen the codes coming in the computer yet?

What happened to MobiTV?

I can't find it on Sprint.com anymore. I know the link for the direct service, But I remeber Sprint having it for a one time fee of $25.

Does anyone have another link?

Newest Sprint commercial

What if Firefighter's Ruled the World or something like that..saw it only once last night. There was a fire Chief and he was talking to a group of firefighters using DC, and everyone was chirping back in response..Great stuff 😁

Has anyone else seen it?

Weird PRL?

So earlier today, I called Sprint to have the phones on my account flagged for a PRL update. All five of the lines were able to update, however, I found that only four of them updated to 20231. The other phone, my line, was updated to 40410. Does anyone know what the 4XXXX series of PRLs is for? We have 2 Samsung SPH-M500s, 3 Motorola V3ms, and 1 Samsung A900m.

Thanks in advance!

Samsung Instinct

I have to say, when I woke up this morning and found info on Sprint's site about the upcoming Instinct I was very excited. I thought I'd head over to Phone Scoop to see what everyone was saying about it, and I got nothing. What do you all think? I can't wait to get my hands on this beauty. To think...I almost bought a touch. This phone looks super sweet. EVDO Rev A, GPS, Visual Voicemail! Way to go Sprint! Finally a phone to get excited about. I just hope it stays exclusive to Sprint.

Has anyone figured this out about the Instinct yet?

One of the features talked about with the annoucement of the Instinct was the ability to tether it to a PC. Another thing said was it has to be on an everything plan (not necessarily the 99.99 plan but the ones with unlimited data starting at 69.99) and that was figured out to be because of the way the phone needs to access the data to get the Visual Voicemail.

Well anyway, I'm straying from my point and that is why even talk about the tethering capability if the everything plans can't support it? From when I last heard (about 2 weeks ago) you couldn't add a "phone as a modem" option to an everything plan. A buddy of mine went thru hell trying to work it out and he just ended getting an aircard instead. So does anyone know what Sprint's p...

esn change = new upgrade date

ummmmm bullish!!

so you're tellin me that if i buy a new phone from someone other than sprint, i lose my upgrade discount from them (well i mean it gets extended). thats a load of crap.

so my phone broke/died a week ago. i call to see what i can do and this is what they fed to me. so i called retentions and complained and got a new phone and also got the real scoop on this. he told me that your wonderful new billing system doesnt work right and it changes the date but the reps are suppose to change it back to the correct date, but are too lazy to do so.

no wonder sprint loses soo many customers. do you jobs and treat ppl with some respect and courtesy and maybe they will stay with you company.

oh and, try making software that wo...

So far so good with Sprint...but

there are a few things...

1st of all, I have the LG Rumor phone...is there a way to put the phone on Vibrate using a shortcut?

1. Customer Service seems to suck. They are not very profesional, seem to be a 3rd party customer service provider (not in house/corporate customer service for Sprint, they try to up-sell you like crazy).

2. With Verizon, you could get a FREE text message telling you the amount of time you have spoken as well as your txt msg/data usage. You can dial *4 with Sprint and a nice lady tells you what you have used but its not the same as getting it in writing. I know I could go on my computer but sometimes thats a hastle.

3. With Verizon, I had the 250 msg plan. That means that I could send/rec 250 either...

HELP! Mogul PAM ?

So last night my friend came over who has a verizon ppc-6700. he showed me a program that came with his phone called internet sharing and he had an option to connect his data network to a computer and run his phone as a modem. im not really familar with verizon so i dont know if they charge for phone as modem plan like sprint does. so i tried my phone, which also came with the internet sharing program. I had two options for my network connection. first is phone as modem and the second one was sprint pcs. i selected sprint pcs and my phone worked. now my question is, my phone did not tell me anything about a phone as modem plan being added to my account, i havnt called sprint yet and thats next on the to-do list but i swear that I read somewh...

Curious about how sprint pays

I am curious guys if you know how in just a broad range hourly how much a rep makes. I am not looking for just a specific number, more just a general range. Say like 9-12 hourly or less or more. I am curious as I am comparing offers from different companies.
