It is not free but they do offer wireless backup for $2/month. Not offered on all phones, though. Which phone are you using?

Mogul backup you should just be using Yahoo GO 2.0 and make a screen name like yournamephonebook@yahoo.com to sync all your contacts. Quite simple and its totally free (plus if you ever DONT have your phone but by a computer you have a portable phonebook) 😈

Wireless backup is not needed on phones like the Mogul, Centro, BB Pearl, etc.
If you have a PDA / Smartphone it is assumed you will be installing the software and synching it to your PC. Hence, the phonebook etc. is saved somewhere other than the phone.....

You would think it would be that easy. The funny thing is that some people that purchase these devices don't even own a computer. They believe that they can do everything through the phone. Thereby not backing up their contacts to a computer. I have recently discovered mail2web.com They offer ActiveSync free so you can back up your contacts and calendar.
