They have put the US as 2nd tier importantance becuase carriers want too much customization which means the carriers are too demanding, usually end up dismantling the handset making the phone less capable than it really is...so until carriers stop this we wont be seeing much of nokia anymore unless you purchase unlocked...oh and goodluck getting frequencies for america's 3g networks...

May, but we recieved promo for the phone already which is confusing bc they usually dont do that unless the phone is going to be released earlier then a few months, but May seems to be the month.

wow ive messed around with many bt headsets and i thought h700 was best, ive never had anyone complain of the clarity. which bt do you all use then if you hate the h700 so much?

The Samsung Slider(D807) is not known to have great service anyway so I woudlnt doubt he had worse service. The Treo 680 uses Palm OS BTW.
But try Cingy out for 30 days urself, if its crap then jsut cancel and pay for the days you had the service.

Imagaine the roaming capabilities if all carriers were one of the same. Then the only thing that would differntiate one carrier form another is the plans, this of course being said that roaming agreements are in place with each carrier. I think the competition will increase dramatically which should benefit the consumer.

actually i feel its quite opposite, if they make it more challenging to bring in a decent paycheck witha difficult comp plan, salesman will find better selling tactics and push more crap on the consumer that they dont need lol

Well I always try to upsell customers to the w810 becuase it comes with the data cable, head phones, and the 128 memory stick where as the w300 doesnt come iwth any of that. Screen resoultion is much clearer and better on the w810. The w810 includes an ambient light detector so basically if its bright outside the screen will get brighter so its easier to read. The darker it is outside the darker your screen ...

Anyone with CellOne in your area?
They have sending letters out to their subscribers canceling their accounts becuase of excessive off-network roaming on Cingular's towers, at least in my area here in KY anyway. Anyone else been seeing alot of this? I wouldnt figure a small regional carrier would do this, only the Tier 1 carriers

the 3G network will and can handle it. BTW there are features available in POS that show the cost of Video sharing, tis going to be billed in a per min basis.
