Call waiting ID?
I've had this phone for a little more than a week. When I'm using the phone and another call comes in, the call waiting displays shows the current call and not the one ringing in. Does anyone else have that problem? Is it a bug or should I return for a new phone?

I'm having the same issues. Had the phone since November - keeps dropping calls and taking a long time to connect. I called Verizon earlier this week and the sent me a new phone (same model). I activated it and used it most of yesterday - still dropping calls, although did seem to connect better. I called 'customer care' again today and was told that they'd need to send me 3 new devices before they'd ...

I think you missed the point - i wasn't trying to 'get away' with anything. I was at the check out - after selecting the phone number i wanted to upgrade and was told that I would need to pay full retail and the discount was applied - on line- without me doing anything!!! just last week.

Erasing Text Messages
Has anyone experienced an issue with deleting individual text messages. I see that the left soft key indicates erase, however, when i push it, it does nothing. I've tried with the list of texts and also with a message open - neither work? User error or software issue? thanks

I struggling with getting started. I've never used the MP3 feature on a phone and just got the 8300 on Friday. Is there a quick way to get started? what extra equipment do i need? can i use songs i already have on my pc? your help is appreciated!
