I couldn't follow the order you've listed.

Once I get to Voice Commands there is no Settings nor Call Alert.

Am I missing something?

Oops. Yep. I was missing something. It's the Settings connected to the right softkey.

Got it. Thanks.

It says the name of the caller and then any ringtone you've assigned.
I'm not yet used to the phone voice...way different than my previous phone, the LG VX4400.

In addition to what "the rever" correctly stated, if the number calling you is not in your phone book, it will announce the number. At first I wasn't sure I wanted everyone around to hear the announcement, but it is a great feature if you are using a headset.

You know, I don't use the feature for that very reason - I don't want everyone hearing if I don't have it on vibrate. A great upgrade would be if the call announcement feature could be set to only work if you have a headset connected. Just my opinion.
