Anyway, I downloaded,and after spending some time with it last night and this morning, I can say that it works pretty well. The voice search isn't perfect. It especially had trouble with addresses. But overall,the app works just as good as the Google app.
Too bad, it didn't work on your Blackberry or Droid, but on the iPhone it works like advertised and all the reviews in the App Store ...

You might be right, but it could also mean that since they will support account login-in with YouTube, so they might make it possible to stream those HD videos that are already on YouTube.Or even sync HD movies purchased from iTunes.

That's what I like about the Apple, they keep on updating their current devices and also bringing new ones out. Not all, but most other manufactures, they release a product and move on onto the next/upcoming product and neglecting the current one.

How you gonna like the Pre better when it's not even out yet, and nobody was able to really test it since it's still in beta.And at launch, you won't be able to expand the usability of the phone because their App Store version won't be ready.

Wow!! Verizon seems to always find a way to rip their customers for more money. You can find the weather the same way by going through any phones browser; or on the iPhone by downloading that same weatherbug app for FREE.

I always found it weird that the others charge like $1.99-$2.99 for one song, and you gotta re-download the song onto your computer again.

Why can't they do like some of the others or even like the iPhone? Release a true world phone with quadband GSM and triband HSDPA.
Nokia keeps on making two seperate models of the same phones; it just makes things more complicated and with more delays. And they wonder why they so behind in America.

NO, because you just won’t get the same experience on the G1 because the screen is not multitouch in order to interact with the map.
Also when need to type something, you gotta flip the phone sideways and due to absence of accelerometers,the pictures would stay in portrait mode.

I downloaded this app this morning and it's very slick, smooth rendering of the pictures. Look just like when browsing from a computer.
It's app like this one that make the iPhone more superior to all those other copycats that are trying to compete.

iPhone has a myspace app for a few months now so obviously they rather focus on the new platforms and ignore WinMo which to me has far more users.

This is ridiculous, why dont they take cues from Apple. They charge the same $0.99 if purchased from your iPhone and that song is synced to computer whenever you plug it to iTunes. It comes out cheaper and less complicated. No wonder all these companies are trying to play catch-up to Apple ...

No 3G, this phone is just a POS, imo.

We all know by now that Tmobile is known and is comfortable at offering low-end to mid-range phones to their customers, specially after that press release yesterday.

Oh wow!!! When is Tmobile gonna wake up and realize it's 2008? When will they stop release pretty much the same basic low-end phones specially from Samsung ? No wonder they're so behind the other carriers when it comes to their phone line-ups.

also, based on the reviews I read from Engadget and Gizmodo, the web on the Instinct is a joke (they both said it); nothing come close to mobile Safari. I'll admit that the Instinct is the best phone coming from Sprint line-up, but please dont bother comparing it to the iPhone.

You're more than welcomed to join the GSM World so that you can just put your simcard in it and be ready to go, instead of having to wait on a cdma carrier to carry the phone and cripple it with their own stuff.

It's not about even bashing.From what I read from other sites, the Thunder might be a touch screened Bold with few updates. Nothing to revolutionary since the OS is still gonna be the same, 4.6

Well they are.What do you say about Visual Voicemail? Let's not even talk about the multi-touch screen.Before, touch screens were just simply made and needed of a stylus ex: Treos,HTC phones.
