I don't understand it. Why would they even manufacture this phone? terrible design, terrible interface, tri-band, etc.

Well the phone looks like it was made from random parts and put together half-assed. It's even got the off-to-the-side "eye."

unfortunately yes. the monday meeting was pretty funny today with all the managers. the MM asked what are some key selling features of this phone and who does it appeal to? it was dead air for about 10 seconds and then someone said "...it's red... with a vga camera, so parents buying a phone for their little kid."
oh, and its $30 w/ a 2 year contract. wow.
check out the other phone they launched today as well, Nokia 2760. Another terrible terrible phone, from the 90's.
