8130 for verizon for the neitzens category: dedicated facebook app, access to im (jivetalk), blackberry messenger, streaming video support, camera for flickr and youtube. Media player and storage for up to 4 gigs i think. Definitely a better pick than the Q9m.

blackberry anytime soon?
Aug 25, 2007, 9:22 PM
in the Helio forum

I've been living with a treo on VZW, a poor substitute for the blackberry i once had as blackberry's email system is much more reliable, battery friendly and prompt. Just wanted to ask if helio has any plans of getting a berry any time soon, and if not, how does helio's current line-up of phones (particularly the ocean and fin) deal wit hthe above categories? Thanks for any repsonses, the info's appreciated!

internet is cheaper on t mobile than on vzw, and cingular. Not sure if it's cheaper than at&t. tmo coverage is a little lax in certain areas though. I used to have a vzw razr and a tmo pearl.

try looking up the limit for vzw's "umlimited" data plans. there was a story on it not long ago, that should help.

um just to put this into perspective, the abolition of slavery required a bloody national schism. Getting cell carriers to port numbers did not, THAT merely required a congressional vote. big difference between social/economic and strictly economic American policy

if theyve been treating you that badly just switch providers at the end of your term of service, which looks to be very soon. I had a similar problem, explained the situation and they took care of me. I couldn't be happier.

not sure you can, the best way to do that would be to call up nextel or boost. If they don't give you the answer you're looking for, search online for a third party retail store in your area and ask them. Just make sure that they don't tell you what you want to hear just to make a sale. Although, boost mobile wants your business so they should give you a straight answer.

It seems to me that the cdma version of this phone offers nothing revolutionary, especially when comparted to the GSM v8. Not to be antagonistic, but is anyone still thinking about purchasing this phone? Keep in mind that us, "gadget-o-philes" are the intended audience, not the everyday user and that we require a little more from our devices.

wow did we all attend the same open bar before posting? Firstly, this phone is practical for those looking for a decent cool phone with MP3 capability. Most reports say this is a worthwhile update to the chocolate series. Second, I agree with stoop, the iphone is really cool, but is limited via its lack of practical implementation. iphone II - the conglomerate strikes back - should be entertaining. However, i just want to note that the interface is ...
