It seems to me that the cdma version of this phone offers nothing revolutionary, especially when comparted to the GSM v8. Not to be antagonistic, but is anyone still thinking about purchasing this phone? Keep in mind that us, "gadget-o-philes" are the intended audience, not the everyday user and that we require a little more from our devices.

I'm anxiously waiting. I've been using an LG VX6100 for two years now (my NE2 is up) and am ready for something new and more advanced. Granted, I'm not into "tweaking" (yet?) as many people here are, but this is the only phone I've seen yet that, at least on paper, knocks my socks off. My priorities are that it be built like a tank, reliable, and of course, perform well. I have been looking at the LG VX8600, VX8700, and the Motorola Maxx Ve. None of those really grabbed my attention like the new RAZR2 does. I only hope that if/when it arrives at the Verizon store it lives up to my expectations.
