I have a brand new Palm Treo 700p for Sprint for sale. I originally bought a 700wx under the impression I could use it overseas. I did not like the Windows interface and exchanged it for the Palm interface before I travlled overseas. The sales agent stated this to me during the purchase. Now since I have exchanged the phone already once the sale is final and I cannot return the Treo 700p. I have cancelled the service with no problem, but now I am stuck with a expensive device. If you are interested please respond to this and I will personally pay for shipping overnight.
My company gave me the Voyager 521 for use of my Bluetooth Headset, and I cannot get the Voyager and my Treo700p to pair up. In fact it doesn't even find the Plantronics Voyager. Which is odd b/c my BlackJack II it's usually the first one it finds.
My bluetooth is two yrs old, but worked great w/my Q. It doesn't work to good w/my samsung. I am looking for a new bluetooth. Want to use it for dictating text messages also. Any recommendations ? Jo 😕
I just go my Treo 700p for Sprint about 5 days ago. I tried to sync it with my computer and was unsuccessful. I found out through calling Palm and looking at their website that the Treo is compatible with Windows XP Office Edition and Windows XP Home Edition. I have Windows XP Media Center Edition, and they said it would not work with that edition. Is there anything I can do to get my Treo to sync because otherwise I'll have to bring it back? Please help me out
In a few days I'll be eligible for New Every 2 with Verizon. I want a phone that will help me keep myself organized. I'm not really interested in having the phone do work that I would do on my computer, I just want to be able to keep up with my contacts, my schedule and have a phone that works. Bluetooth is important to me.
I like that the Q has an airplane mode, I don't fly that much, but when I do that's time to look at the schedule. The 700P doesn't have airplane mode.
What does it mean that the Q isn't a "smartphone" and the 700P is, will I care?
any advice appreciated
also, I'm not planning to switch to a data plan, as I don't want to do any internet apps or emailing on my phone, is that a probhlem?

My Verizon Razr V3 had a cycle through the washing machine, and I need to get a new phone (This may have been a blessing in disguise). I've decided to go the smartphone route, and really like what I've seen and read about the 700p. Verizon is getting ready to release the 755 in Oct/Nov. The question is, should I just get the 700p now, or is the 755 worth the 1-2 month wait?
How do you dial business phone numbers that are spelled out? For example, the phone number for Met Insurance is listed in advertising as "1-800-GET-MET1" without listing the keypad number equivalents. Is there a trick to dialing this?
My old Blackberry had a shift-key function to do this, I gotta think the Palm does as well.
I HAVE A VERIZON 700P TRIO. IT IS FAR AND AWAY THE WORST PHONE I HAVE EVER HAD. i AM ON MY 6TH PHONE IN 18 MONTHS. i HAVE HAD MANY MANY PROBLEMS WITH MY PHONE. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD PROBLEMS. I HAVE HAD 5 REPLACEMANTS, AND VERIZON WILL NOT GIVE ME A DIFFERENT PHONE...
Does Versamail force synching of contacts, events with Exchange
I'm preparing to use versamial on my treo 700p and it tells me that I'll be dropping all contacts/events on the server. I just want to sync e-mail. Do I have to sync contacts/events and can I keep syncing with ACT, as I'm currently doing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
