My reception was actually good I thought. I did sell my X on Ebay yesterday and ordered a droid incredible. Size was the factor for me. No need for big screen as I will not be watching video on my phone. So, incredible hits the sweet spot for size in a pocket and still a great device.

So, I have the droid x and I really like it. The size is great to use but not great to have in your pocket. I am afraid if I return it and get an incredible I will miss the big screen but love the ease of storage. It really is a tough call. I do not have any issues with the x other than all of the apps it comes with that you CANNOT ...

When I try to register my facebook on the Motorola blur widget it says "internal error try again" Over and over for two days. I have read online this is not rare. Any insight?

I have read a couple articles online that state AT&T is adding 70 towers to illinois this year. Is there anywhere we can see or be told where they are going? I am dying to get my iphone as I have waited and waited......etc... I tried the first round but the coverage here is pretty bad. I am hopeful some new towers will go up here. 61021

I also think it is funny that people believe the Droid is as good. Not so much. Anyone who has played with an ipod touch or and iphone will easily know that they cannot be touched as far as ease of use and performance. It may not be the best phone but everything else makes up for it. I too will be in line in July when it FINALLY arrives. :wink:

I did not read thru the replies but, Why don't you pay full retail for the droid and then reset your current phone and sell it on Ebay. I have done that several time a year for the past few years as I like new phones often. Usually get a decent price for the current used phone. Verizon does not care if you do that. :wink:

Funny you ask. I have the same two phones. I am pretty sure I am returning the Nokia because of a couple of reasons. Honest guy here too.
The LG 8360 is not as much as a looker. But, it is amazingly user friendly and easier to navigate and its quality is unmatched for a flip phone.
I went and bought the nokia Two days ago and paid full retail for it.

I cannot say for sure. However, in my past very new phones have not had certain apps available at first. But, they did just after release. Such as weather apps on my past phones. I would say more than likely. They want our money in all shapes.....

Well, that is what they are doing for me now. The guy at the service center was awesome to say the least. They are overnighting me another storm tonight and hopefully the next one will answer calls a little better. I have to say if it does not. My marriage with the storm will be a divorce as this will be the 3rd storm I will have had... Then I will go back to ...

I still am having trouble with my storm answering calls. It seems like when someone calls it gets confused and stops for too long then I loose the call. I have tried everything I have found online about this issue. I hit the send hard key when a call comes in and it still feezes up. I dunno...

I do not get many phone calls on my storm but, when I do, I keep missing them. I hit answer, or I have tried hitting the green hard button to answer and I get nothing.. I keep missing calls. Anyone??????

It is is such a problem than they should not have a exchange program at all then. I accept returns in my business which is one where most would never, ever accept what I sell back as a return. I make my customers happy. If I can afford it working alone. Then The big V can afford to refurbish a phone for a customer who may have been unsure of their needs or wants. ...

No worries here. I exchanged tonight and the store was VERY VERY Nice about it. They did not offer any grief at all as I was respectful and appreciative for the gesture. I am glad to have my storm back even with the few bugs that will hopefully be cleared up soon.. Camera......!

You guys act like the phones get thrown away and the money all goes down the drain.. NOT... its called refurbished phones, that they give to folks who's phones break. I worked in electronics retail for a while in my younger days and the returns were checked then sold as open stock at a discount. ...

Lets just say "IF" I exchanged my Storm for a Dare and now I miss my storm afterall... Any chance on getting it back? It has been 20 days since I originally bought the storm. I have had the Dare for a week now.

My bugs...I still like it...
Yes, I still like my storm. I want to share the bugs I see as a first time smartphone owner.
-Camera is by far the biggest bug. It needs major help.
-Landscape mode gets stuck often. Very often!
-Always freezes after camera use and especially after video playback. I know that "Closing" Apps help but, it still freezes often too.
These can surely be fixed with a software update. Mine is a week old so it ...

I went to the store today and played. I love the look and feel of the Storm. The Dare could be acceptable though. I just know in my gut that I really do not need the blackberry features. I have never had nor needed them before. I just love the screen though. It is amazing. But, I feel guilt about an extra $30 per month ...

Ok. Sorry ahead of time If this sounds lame. I use mac at home. I like verizon better than AT&T thats why?
SO, Does windows mobile get in the way of anything if I really do not need it. I like this phone for the camera, texting, casual checking of the web or email and most of all calls.. So, can sync contacts with a mac? Prob not I know. Thanks guys.

I have always used a clamshell. I am interested in the storm because of all that it does. I am wondering how BB's are as a phone? Do you get used to holding a rectangle to your face vs a clam shell. Also, call clarity, volume, etc... thanks!

UPDATE:
I got the second phone from them today and it seems to be legit though there are a couple of slight differences from my original 8700. It feels like my orignal and seems more solid and has the LG logo on it. I cannot believe the first one they sent me. It was just like those fake purses the ladies buy. It was a "Look alike cell phone" Really, that bad. Honest here.

Hi everyone: I am new to using Bluetooth. I have new toyota with the handsfree setup built in. I have the LG 8700 now and it seems to loose the connection often. It is annoying to say the least. I was wondering if anyone had experience with these factory hands free setups and could recommend which verizon phones seem to work out the best. Thanks in advance.
