Camera Problems

I'm having lots of problems with taking a picture. The lag time is terrible. I hold the shutter button down and wait for the white rectangle. Then I wait for the green rectangle. Then I push the shutter button and wait and wait and wait and finally hear a click. This delay is ridiculous. The flash is so bright that the subjects complain. When I turn the flash off, the picture is too dark. Any suggestions? Any software upgrades coming out soon to fix all this nonsense? Thanks.....

The camera problems have been there since day 1. Very frustrating. It does work far better in good light outdoors though. It's just indoors thats currently the problem.

Not sure what software version you are running but it's the worst on .65 and starts to improve with .75 and later.

I never saw an LED phone flash this bright before. They pretty much used to be a joke. I wouldn't be surprised if they made a flashlight app for it soon.

the lag is bad, and the flash is bright. however, mine takes some really really good pics, and amazing in low ligt. for example, on xmas eve i tried the camera in my garage. shut off all the lights, you couldnt even see your hand. i then turn on the cam and take a pic, and while not crystal clear, EVERYTHING is visible, the pic looks amazing for, not low light, NO LIGHT.

try this. do you use image stabilization? mine is off, and on os .75 the lag was the least bad with the image stabilization off.
