Can Hotsync and ActiveSync co-exist?
While I am trying out this Q, I would like to be able to continue using my Tungsten T3. Does anyone know if the two sync programs can co-exist on one laptop? I will be using both heavily with Outlook.

Palm OS apps vs WM 5.0 apps
I am trying my best to like this phone, but I have been using Palm OS since the Palm V came out. I now have a T3 and use the heck out if daily and have invested mucho dollars in apps for it. My goal is to use just one device though.
Has anyone been able to find apps for this thing other than the Downloads page from Handango that was preloaded?

I have the same headset and also had the E815. What I liked about the combo was that I could just flip open the headset and the phone automatically turned Bluetooth on and I was ready to go. With the Q, I have to go to Bluetooth settings and toggle ON. Has anyone found a different way to do this?
Also, I have not installed ActiveSync yet (need to do so on work laptop tomorrow) so my Contacts is still ...

there is a silicon case being sold on ebay now. do a search on motorola q case. they come in ghost white and black and have a buy it now of 12.99 plus 5.99 shipping. they say be shipping won't be until june 9/10.

I had to turn mine in today (owing it less than 24hrs) for a replacement phone. Mine kept freezing up. and I could not connect to data...I kept getting Login Error.
I will give this the 15 days, but I have a funny feeling that I will be getting a Razr v3m until the next generation Treo P comes out. Rumor has it the antenna is built in and it's smaller than the Q.
I am not happy that the bluetooth ...
Try egrips
I use egrips (www.egrips.com) for my treo 700w and although there is not clip or anything, it is is sure nice with slipery phones.
They have a universal cell phone, but I'm sure if enough people ask for the Q they will start making it.

I thought it was just me...but I think you add me as number 3 on the lemon thing.
Mine has yet to turn on past Verizon logo screen and then just turns off. I am giving it until tomorrow morning on the charger to see if that makes a difference, but after reading this I doon't hold out much hope.

I was in the same boat, right down to working for a large corp but no discount on phone, but my contract wasn't up until Nov 2007.
Well, after constant griping and asking for a supervisor, I got "an exception" and they allowed me to get the phone for 299. They still wouldn't do the 199 though. I also got a corp discount on my plan.
Acessories / Skins
Anyone know of a place to buy accessories? I am very interested in a skin also. The cases are real bulky looking.

I tried this tactic and didn't get far with it. I escalated to a supervisor and got the same story. They interpret the press release to say that it has to be a "new" 2 yr contract, not an existing one. Even though it doesn't say that..."it's implied".
I was able to get the phone at $299 though. They excellerated my 2yr upgrade to give me a $100 discount.

Thanks for the advice...I just realized that my auto-volume was set to OFF on this phone. We'll see if that helps. However, I have tried 3 different headsets....on all 3 phones.
Keep in mind, Verizon got the 6 out of 10 words test results...basically, confirming the defect.

I am now on my 3rd phone and am still getting this defect. Verizon actually tested my 1st phone and came up with the above results. On the 2nd phone, they didn't even bother to test it, they just gave me a new (refurbished) phone. I have had the 3rd phone for one day now and am already getting feedback from people on the other end that my voice fades out, and this part is new...even when I stop ...
