Does anybody know how to get Yahoo Messenger ont he Q?
I went via the web browser to download it but got routed to a verizon page that instructed me to use "Get It Now" to get messenger (the Q doesn't even have "G.I.N."

Any ideas?

'T'ain't gonna happen, pardner. Neither is AOL IM. They only have them on VZ with Get It Now phones, which the i730 is not.

Fear not though - there is a very good alternative, although it does cost something: It's called IM+ and it is available at www.shapeservices.de. The good part is that this one app works simultaneously with ICQ, AOL, MSN, Yahoo!, Jabber and Google Talk. I use it and I love it.

go to mm.yahoo.com on your Q web browser for Yahoo Messenger. It's a nice interface if you only want Yahoo IM.

I also heard you can try Agile Messenger in place of IM+, and the Alpha version for WB5 is free. Go to
http://www.agilemobile.com/downloads.html » for the download.
