I have a sprint postpaid acct , but I have a blackberry i would like to use for sms and data only. I do not want a a contract becuase i travel internationaly a lot and we will be using an Egyptian sim in the BB while roaming as my EVO wont roam (dang sprint) What I want to know is can I get a prepay tmobile number for my BB and be able to use sms and data ...

You may be effected under the "1900 MHz Band Shut Down" Its basicaly taking down the old network and bringing up more 3g covrage. If you ARE in an effected market, as it sounds like. So tonight I had a guy call with a Blackberry that would not connect to data or send & receive mms.

I have the evo and I LOVE the dang phone. You have to admit it does every thing BUT jump threw burning hoops but It will tell you how!! I work for the IFreaks and I am so glad I'm not stuck with dropped calls and ituens... thank you jebus!! So I'm sorry sprint reps you have to deal with EVO freaks but atleast you done have to deal with the IFreaks.

I had the same problem until i turned off the " notify me when 4g" setting. Install an app killer to turn off apps when not in use, if you just got it and have been playing then you probably have 50 apps running in the background. As for the pic not sure of any help there I took one of the hubby and it looks fine, you may have to play with it a bit longer. dont worry ...
